This September, The Social of Greenwood invites the community to learn more about its programs and services during National Senior Center Month. Join us for Financial Fitness, SMP Fraud Class, and Wellness Tips for Seniors as we celebrate this year’s theme Senior Centers: Experts at Living Well. A host of activities have been planned including: Dining with Diabetes every Monday at 1p.m., and multiple blood pressure screenings done by New Hope Hospice, Americare, and Seasons Hospice. The Social of Greenwood was founded in 1979 and today is located at 550 Polk Street in Greenwood and provides programs, activities, and services designed to enhance the quality of life of those 50 and beyond in our community. Local businessman, Dean Jones is the current President of the Board of Directors.
