Preface __________________________________________________
What I have shared in the book is not a philosophy but a statement of my spiritual
evolution and program of tremendous possibility slumbering within you.
I was caught in a desert, I suffered the miseries of intense thirst and heat and
discovered an oasis which not only quenched
my thirst and kept me cool, but also would keep doing so for all my fearful, forlorn and
faltering brothers walking in the darkness of spiritual ignorance.
With love and blessings

Kriya Yoga: The Science of Inner Resource Management _____________________________________________
If requires both time and technology to
transform potential resource into actual resource. From the time immemorial, the
high-speed wind has been a potential source of energy, but we have learnt just two
hundred years ago how to use high-speed winds to generate electricity using windmills.
India has immense solar energy potential,
and we can easily bridge energy demand and supply gap but we do not have cost-effective
technology to harvest this energy, to change the potential resource into actual resource.
Consequently, half of the villages in India still remain without electricity.
The enlightened souls and the scriptures declare unanimously that ―Man is potentially
equal to God.‖ But the miserable life of human
beings proves it otherwise. Most of us even fail to meet the challenges and needs of life, what
to speak of his being all-powerful.
Once a student of Presidency College,
Chennai handed over a piece of paper to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the great scientist and
the President of India with a following note: ―The full power of banyan tree is equal to the
power in a seed of the tree! In a way, both of
us, you and me are the same.‖

Certainly, each citizen of the country is
potentially equal to The President but he is not actually equal to him until he manifests
hidden potential and develops qualification to
achieve that power and position. We need time and technology to actualize our hidden
potential and use it to achieve our cherished goals. We already have everything we want to
achieve in life. We have an inexhaustible fountain of joy, wisdom and power sleeping
within. It’s awaiting our intention and action
to reclaim it.
Kriya Yoga is the science of inner resource
management. Its regular application helps you realize your full spiritual potential, which
nourishes both bodily and mental powers.
I have heard about a farmer who had
inherited an old and abandoned farmhouse. He wanted to develop it into profitable estate,
but the condition of the farmhouse and the
field was very miserable. The farmhouse was falling apart; the fences were collapsing. The
fields were strewn with the weeds.
During his first day of work, the town
preacher stopped by and blessed him by saying, ―May you and your God work together
to make it the farm of your dreams.‖
A few months later, the preacher again
called on the farmer. This time farm house
was completely changed. It was exquisitely renovated. The fields flourished with the
bumper crops.
―Amazing! Awesome!‖, said the preacher.
―Look what you and God have accomplished together.‖ ―But do not you remember what the
