The Sentry® DCCP Reboiler is designed to optimize the analytical results for degassed cation conductivity. First, the panel uses an oversized heater and baffled vapor discharge chamber, which assures complete boiling and provides a steam blanket over the sample to eliminate any sample contamination that might occur due to discharge piping backflow. The vapor is then condensed and removed via a vent drain. After the sample is degassed, it is cooled with an additional sample cooler so that chemistry deviations in analyzer temperature compensation curves are reduced.

BENEFITS
The Sentry DCCP reboiler is a complete panel that measures specific cation and degassed conductivity or any individual measurement needed. The custom analysis panels include degassed conductivity, dissolved oxygen (DO) and corrosion products sampling. The panel is designed to work with a wide variety of conductivity analyzers and provides simple and compact cycle chemistry validation.

(1)The cooled sample flows
through the first conductivity cell which measures specific
conductivity (SC).
(2)The cation resin bed exchanges positive ions in the sample for
hydrogen ions.
(3)The sample flows through
the second conductivity cell which measures for cation conductivity (CC).
(4)The digitally operated
heater removes volatiles, such as CO2, in the sample. Turns off automatically
on low sample flow.
(5)The sample cooler returns the sample temperature to inlet
conditions.
