Facility Condition Assessment

(FCA) Overview

“Can’t manage what you don’t know” - BUILDER provides a tool

to track lifecycle and sustainment of Real Property

FCA teams comprise of shop personnel with experience in HVAC,

Structures, Electrical, Power Pro and WFSM

Teams assess targeted facility utilizing tablets and BRED software

for inventorying RPIE and export data into BUILDER

Facility equipment are typically directly rated and include:

Structures: Building envelope, roofs, doors and windows

HVAC: Air handlers, pumps, fans, chillers, boilers

Electric: Generators, switch gear, transformers, panels

WFSM: Toilets, sinks, interior utility linear infrastructure

Once BUILDER inventory data is collected Requirements

and Optimization (R&O) can begin to “put the pieces

together” and create a whole picture of what the facility

needs.

• Generates an overall “Health Grade” or BCI based on

rated conditions of facility various components

• Tracks Mission Dependency Index (MDI) via Real

Property Records for ranking

• Gives a system repair cost estimates based off RS

Means and lifecycle status

R&O analyzes data within BUILDER, GEOBASE, IWIMS and

ACES in order to track deficiencies, and proactively identify

trends and develop project candidates.
