Duties -Covered for Print Production Coordinator where I created typeset ads for clients, created the layout for both The ‘Ontario Reports’, and ‘The Lawyers Weekly’. I also made sure files were packaged correctly and saw to it that they were sent to the correct persons (i.e. print house, sales reps, web com) -Designed and completed layouts for various magazines through out the year-In charge of image research where I read stories and had discussions with editors about what art would complement the articles-Worked long side the Print Production Coordinator to make sure bleeds, image and file size and quality was met for print house standards -Gave a seminar on how to implement the new redesign of the ‘The Lawyers Weekly’ newspaper-Designed section fronts, as well as did layout for ‘The Lawyers Weekly’ newspaper-Downloaded and processed images for both the newspaper and magazine-Uploaded content and processed images to the website using the companies CMS-Kept track of images used in each issue of the newspaper and magazines-Sent PDFs to lawyers and writers as requested, also processed headshots as required -Created filler ads for ‘The Lawyers Weekly’ newspaper and referred to the company’s Brand Standard Guide
