The 2014 Salzburg to Vienna Bike Adventure begins in Vienna with a brief orientation before we embark by train to Salzburg. Well-preserved, historic Salzburg offers a warm welcome as we wander the cobblestone streets and relax with spectacular views of the Alps classic vineyards and unblemished countryside.

Our bike journey back to Vienna will consist of a rejuvenating mix of natural beauty, enchant-ing history, and the camaraderie of wonderful people supporting one another in a magically peaceful and physically inspiring journey.

We’ll eat fresh, delicious foods and experience the thrill of challenging ourselves—and succeed-ing! Besides meeting bikers on the trail from all over the world, we will build relationships

with Luther alumni and friends of all ages and locations.

To ensure that you fully enjoy your adventure, be ready to bike for up to four hours a day, but certainly at your own speed. We will want to anticipate a variety of weather conditions, ter-rain both up hill and down, but with only a small on-board kit of daily essentials and water.

The bike route will be mostly flat with some hilly stretches in the Salzkammergut; completely flat in the Danube valley. We will rent bikes in Salzburg. Bring your helmet!

Deadline to register for tour: January 30, 2014

Number in tour: Maximum of 16.
