Limited Respite Program

Individuals 18 years and older caring for individuals 60 years or older who need help with at least 2 ADLs

Grandparents or other relatives 55 or older providing care to:

Grandchildren 17 or under

Adults, age 18 to 59 years, with DDR disabilities that result in substantial functional limitation

Limited Respite Program Eligibility

No low-income requirements or fee for services

Family caregiver must live in Salt Lake County and be unpaid

Care Receiver must be in a home environment

Caregiver can not be on two government funded programs at the same time (Veterans benefits, Hospice, Medicaid programs, etc.)
