The first Friday of every month following the 8:00am
Mass we have the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
and the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
THE 12 PROMISES of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Ala-
coque Our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to St. Margaret Mary between 1673-
1675. Among the words spoken to her, she heard Jesus make 12 promises to
those who would respond to the pleading of His Heart and make an effort to
return His love.
St. Margaret Mary once said, “I do not know of any other exercise in the
spiritual life that is more calculated to raise a soul in a short amount of time
to the height of perfection and to make it taste the true sweetness to be found
in the service of Jesus Christ.”
1. I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.
2. I will establish peace in their homes.
3. I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
4. I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all, in death.
5. I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.
6. Sinners will find in My Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy.
7. Lukewarm souls shall become fervent.
8. Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.
9. I will bless every place in which an image of My Heart is exposed and
honored.
10. I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.
11. Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in
My Heart.
12. I promise you in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all powerful
love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fri-
days in nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall
not die in My disgrace, nor without receiving their sacraments. My divine
Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.

El primer viernes de cada mes después de la Misa de las
8:00 am tenemos la Exposición del Santísimo Sacramen-
to y la devoción al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.
LAS 12 PROMESAS del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús a Santa Margarita Ma-
ría Alacoque Nuestro Señor Jesucristo se apareció a Santa Margarita María
entre 1673-1675. Entre las palabras que le dijo, escuchó a Jesús hacer 12
promesas a aquellos que responderían a la súplica de Su Corazón y harían
un esfuerzo por devolver Su amor.
Santa Margarita María dijo una vez: “No conozco ningún otro ejercicio en
la vida espiritual que esté más calculado para elevar un alma en un corto
período de tiempo a la altura de la perfección y hacer que pruebe la
verdadera dulzura que se encuentra. en el servicio de Jesucristo ".
1. Les daré todas las gracias necesarias en su estado de vida.
2. Estableceré la paz en sus hogares.
3. Los consolaré en todas sus aflicciones.
4. Seré su refugio seguro durante la vida y, sobre todo, en la muerte.
5. Otorgaré abundantes bendiciones a todas sus empresas.
6. Los pecadores encontrarán en Mi Corazón la fuente y el océano infinito
de misericordia.
7. Las almas tibias se volverán fervientes.
8. Las almas fervientes se elevarán rápidamente a una gran perfección.
9. Bendeciré todo lugar en el que se exponga una imagen de Mi Corazón y
honrado.
10. Daré a los sacerdotes el don de tocar los corazones más endurecidos.
11. Aquellos que promuevan esta devoción tendrán sus nombres escrito en
Mi Corazón.
12. Te prometo en la excesiva misericordia de Mi Corazón que Mi amor
todopoderoso otorgará a todos aquellos que reciban la Sagrada Comunión
los primeros viernes de nueve meses consecutivos la gracia de perseveran-
cia final; no morirán en mi deshonra, ni sin recibiendo sus sacramentos. Mi
Corazón divino será su refugio seguro en este último momento.
Sunday, December 12th ~ Celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Mañanitas will be held in the church at 5:00am. Coffee and bread will follow in the front hall.
If the weather allows, at 11:15am, we will start creating the procession in the school parking lot.
Mass will be held at 12:00pm in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, lunch will be held at the school after Mass.

Mañanitas se llevará a cabo en la iglesia a las 5:00 am. El café y el pan seguirán en el vestíbulo del frente.
Si el clima lo permite, a las 11:15 am, comenzaremos a crear la procesión en el estacionamiento de la escuela.

Choir Needs Singers for Christmas Eve
Can you carry a tune?! We are in need of people who can sing at the 4:30 pm Christmas Eve Mass.

Book Sale and Signing by Steve Souza
Next Sunday, Steve Souza will be signing his book "The Inquirer's Bible" After the 8:00am and 10:00am masses. This
book has gotten great reviews by people like nationally known Ken Litchfield and our own Fr. Jim Sulivan, author of
several books. It will make a great Christmas gift for anyone that can use some help understanding the Bible and God's
love for humanity..
One half of next Sunday's proceeds will be donated to our own St. Joseph Church.
So be here next week and get your own personally signed copy for yourself or a loved one.
