HOLY HOUR

Wednesday June 3 at 7 pm

to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus

YOU ARE INVITED to join us from home in praying this HOLY HOUR to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

While public Masses WILL RESUME starting May 30 & 31,

We will still record the Masses LIVE and on our website so

they can be viewed at home. If you scheduled a Mass to

be offered for your loved one during the time we were

away and you’d like to reschedule, please call the Office.

Provide

Consider what you can safely do to help others...

• Call the elderly and isolated

• Provide food or supplies for someone

We are always grateful for your generous support and we hope that you will continue to financially give to our parish even though you may not be attending Mass due to circumstances relating to the coronavirus.

In order that the work of the Church may continue, we are asking that you continue to support our parish financially in any of the following ways:

1. Mail in your weekly envelopes

2. Mail a check

PLEASE REGISTER FOR FALL CLASSES!! Our Faith Formation Online Registrations for the fall have been sent to families via Flocknote on Friday, 4/24.

Please take a moment to check the information and send it in so we will hopefully be ready to start up again in September. It’s easy to do and only takes a few minutes! Thank

you for your help.

3. Prayerfully consider continuing to give weekly via our Online Giving page. Use the URL or QR code on the right to quickly load the page.

Weekday Masses have

resumed abiding by the

restrictions in place by

the Diocese of

Worcester and St.

Denis guidelines.

Morning Masses will

begin at 8:30 am

Monday, Tuesday and

Wednesday.

There will be no

Masses on Thursday

and Friday.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

How do you make a Spiritual Communion? Begin by examining your conscience and making a good Act of Contrition.

“My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there, and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.”

A Spiritual Communion can never fully take the place of receiving Holy Communion at Mass, but in these extraordinary times it can help us to stay close to Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of his Body and Blood.

Last year we celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi (The Body and Blood of the Lord) with a 24 hour adoration, a procession and the offer of candles with our intentions. Families who offered a candle could then take their candle home for their personal prayer or dedicate it to the tabernacle lamp at Church

Corpus Christi is celebrated on June 11 (Thursday) so we will be celebrating it on the weekend of JUNE 14/15.

To offer a votive candle with your intentions, please visit our website or call the Rectory and leave a message

with Nancy.

St. Denis will resume

weekend Masses beginning this

weekend MAY 30/31

The Solemnity of PENTECOST!

We anticipate the coming of the Holy Spirit and we anticipate the return of parishioners to St. Denis Church. While we still will not be able to accommodate all, we will continually do our best to do what is right and safe for all.

The coming of the Holy Spirit, promised by the Lord to his disciples at the Last Supper, anticipated by the prophets for centuries, unknown to generations of humanity going back to creation, the Holy Spirit is ready to come into our lives.

Looking at the world today, it may seem that the Holy Spirit has been absent. Let us join together this weekend to pray for the activity of the Holy Spirit in our world, in our communities, and in our hearts.

2020 Partners in Charity Appeal

Once a year, we commit ourselves to this

ongoing work by supporting this life

giving appeal. We reflect on God’s great

generosity and respond with generous

giving of our own. With your support,

faith in action is visible every day in the

compassionate outreach of Catholic Char-

ities, to the least among us; in prayerful

witness of our retired priest and the joy of

new priestly vocations; to the many dioc-

esan ministries and programs that heal,

teach and care for others.

It is important for all of us to participate

in order to support our mission as a

diocese. Please be as generous as

possible. If you have already made a gift

to the 2020 appeal we thank you! Your

gift will help us in reaching our parish

goal.

Please make your gift online at:

www.partners-charity.net

You may also mail in your donation to us:
