of December 04, 2016
Know Someone Who Needs Prayers There are many
times in our lives when we come across someone who
could use extra prayers especially in these difficult times.
As Catholics we know that the most perfect prayer is the
Mass and no other prayer that we say would benefit them
as much. Consider having a Mass said for your loved ones,
living or deceased. Simply come to the office to pick from
many available dates and Mass times. There is a
suggested donation of $10 for each Mass intention that you
request. 2017 Mass Book is now open.

Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe by Pope John XXIII
“Hail, Mother of the Americas, Heavenly Missionary
of the New World! From the sanctuary of Tepeyac,
for more than four centuries you have been the
Mother and Teacher of the Faith to the peoples of the
Americas. Be also our protection and save us, O
immaculate Mary. Aid our rulers; stir up a new zeal
in our prelates; increase the virtues of our clergy, and
preserve forever our Faith. In every home may the
holiness of the family flourish, and in the shelter of
the home may Catholic education, favored by your
own benign glance, achieve a wholesome growth.”

“Oh house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the
Lord!” As we begin the anticipation of Advent, let us walk
together in the love of God by participating in a WorldWide Mar-
riage Encounter weekend on February 24-26 in Phoenix. To ap-
ply for the weekend and for other dates visit

Our Lady's Sodality would like to thank everyone who
prepared the delicious items for our annual bake sale and
those who satisfied a sweet tooth with their purchases. It
was a wonderful fundraiser for St. Daniel the Prophet!
Thank you very much!
Save the Date - 2/11/17
Guess what? Our Lady's Sodality is hosting a parish baby
shower to benefit Maggie's Place.
Maggie's Place is a community that provides houses of hos-
pitality for pregnant and parenting women in need
and offers a stable and nurturing home environment.
Now the baby shower isn't until February, but we thought
maybe the parishioners who crochet, knit, quilt or sew
might want to get started early on a project to help wel-
come a new life into the world.
The mothers and babies of Maggie's Place will be the true
beneficiaries of such a fun event and will help them reach
their goals in a dignified and loving way.
Watch for more details coming in future bulletins that will
give you ideas if you would rather purchase a shower gift
for this exciting event.
Our Lady’s Sodality
All parishioners are kindly invited to join us as we pray
for the unborn, the ones that cannot speak for
themselves. We pray for them and their mothers,
that the unborn will be spared and the mothers
will have a change of heart.
Our next Prayer Vigil is
Saturday, December 17th, 8:00AM
at Planned Parenthood, 1250 E Apache Blvd., Tempe,
(Apache Blvd and Dorsey),
Pray the rosary led by our parish priests.
Please dress appropriate and bring bottled water.
