St. Ann Catholic Church Mission Statement
Established in 1935, St. Ann Catholic Church of Kaufman, TX is a com-munity of believers who cherish the traditions of our Holy Roman Catholic Church while seeking to engage the diversity of our parish to appreciate each other’s culture, gifts, and common desire to be better disciples of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to make our parish a place of welcome where all can experience the presence of Christ in our midst through sacramental worship, fellowship, education, and outreach. We challenge ourselves to recognize God’s graciousness in our lives and our responsibility as Christian stewards to tend and grow what God has given us.

American churches are experiencing a power shortage, declare the au-thors of Living Your Strengths. "People aren't harnessing the power of their innate gifts."
Does their message sound familiar? Have you felt disconnected from your church lately? Are you not attending as much? Or maybe you're a pas-sionate member who wants to become even more involved, and would also like to inspire others.
Whatever the case, more than half of churchgoers report that they don't get to do what they do best in their congregations or parishes. And this is driving people away.
But it doesn't have to be this way. Living Your Strengths shows all mem-bers how to use their innate gifts to enrich their congregations and parish-es-- right now. It teaches you to identify and affirm your talents, and how to use them for growth and service.
St. Ann Kaufman is offering a Living your Strengths Seminar on Thurs-day Evening January 7, 6-9pm. Call the Church office 972/962-3247 to register and prior to the seminar, obtain a new copy of Living your Strengths and take the online survey to obtain a list of your top 5 strengths. Your book will have a unique code that will allow you to take the assessment.
We will also be offering 7 week further study ‘Journey’ January 14- February 25th meeting weekly on Thursday evenings 7:00-8:30pm.
