Weighing the Anchor• Retrieving the Anchor

– Approach anchor position slowly– Pull up rode so don’t foul propeller– Stop boat when directly over anchor– Break out anchor

• If won’t break out– Snub off road, then go ahead slowly– If still will not break out, slowly circle anchor

– Retrieve and store anchor• Wash off anchor
