Safety Training Is Good Business Every organization has Safety Training needs, but finding an organization that has the experience and resources to meet those needs is not easy. Rowan College at Gloucester County, in partnership with the Delaware Valley Safety Council, is uniquely positioned to deliver customized safety training solutions designed to meet the needs of any employer. ABOUT THE DVSC The Delaware Valley Safety Council (DVSC) is a non-profit organization which was organized and incorporated in 1995. The council is made up of fourteen manufacturing and petrochemical companies located in the Delaware Valley region. The council's main objective is to provide compliance-based safety training that is dedicated to loss prevention. DVSC has partnered with RCGC Safety Training Center since 1995 to deliver safety training to more than contractor 105,000 contractors and is a member of the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils, (ARSC) Inc. Trainees are provided with best in class training and testing that complies with the ARSC Basic Orientation Plus (BOP) curriculum. Trainees that complete the BOP course and successfully pass the examination receive a credential accepted by facilities throughout the country as proof that they have satisfied contractor training responsibilities under OSHA’s Process Safety Management Standard. SAfety CeRtifiCAte pRoGRAmS:• Supervisor Safety Certificate — Achieving an injury-free workplace takes more than a catchy phrase

or one individual championing the cause. It takes a team effort. All workers need to be engaged to the safety culture. Safety leaders understand the pivotal role a frontline supervisors play in shaping
