SAF124 MACHINE GUARDING—8 HR
This course incorporates the OSHA Machinery and Machine Guarding Standards and
outlines the process to identify, select and adequately safeguard machinery to
protect employees and others in the work area and deliver suitable training in safe
work practices.
Any machine part, function, or process which may cause injury must be safeguarded.
When the operation of a machine or accidental contact with it can hurt the operator
or others in the vicinity, the hazards must be either controlled or eliminated. Even the
most extensive safeguarding system cannot offer adequate protection unless a worker
knows how to use it and why. Specific and detailed training is, therefore, a vital part
of an effort to provide safeguarding against machine hazards to prevent injury.
SAF125 MOCK OSHA INSPECTIONS (SERVICE)
OSHA fines can run from $7,000 to $70,000 per violation. Be prepared, make sure you
and your team know what to do, your rights and responsibilities if an OSHA inspector
arrives at your site. Our experienced Safety & Health professionals can come to your
site providing experience and information that will ensure you are prepared.
SAF126 PPE COMMUNICATIONS FOR SUPERVISORS
One of the most important elements of any Safety & Health program is the proper
selection, use, and care of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), but if the employees
are not using it they will end up getting hurt. This course is focused on teaching
Supervisors how to deal with noncompliance. Topics include leadership, policies,
vehicles for communication, enforcement, and behavioral transformation
management.
SAF127 RECORDKEEPING
Make sure you comply with the recent final Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) rule (29CFR 1904), which takes effect on February 25, 2019,
and rescinds significant portions of its electronic reporting rule.
A core safety program element for almost all employers; this curriculum incorporates
all aspects and compliance for identifying, completing, maintaining, posting and
reporting OSHA required recordkeeping requirements and forms.

SAF132 WORKPLACE SAFETY
Workplace safety is a science and an art. Creating a safe work site is based on how
thoroughly the people at all levels of the operation understand the safety & health
Standards and how those Standards are implemented and practiced in the daily work
environment.
The student will learn and participate in discussions about the application and art of
getting the employees involved in becoming active members of workplace safety
efforts and sharing in the workplace success. The science, resources and application
of safety and health Standards and best practices will be covered.
SAF133 WORKPLACE VIOLENCE
Homicide is currently the fourth-leading cause of fatal occupational injuries in the
United States workplace. Violence is a significant concern for employers and
employees nationwide. Your Safety & Health Program is not complete without
addressing workplace violence.
OSHA defines workplace violence as "any act or threat of physical violence,
harassment, intimidation, or other threatening, disruptive behavior that occurs at the
work site. It ranges from threats and verbal harassment to physical assaults and even
homicide." There are currently no specific OSHA Standards for workplace violence,
however under the General Duty Clause, Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety
and Health Act of 1970, employers are required to provide their employees with a
place of employment that is “free from recognized hazards that are causing or are
likely to cause death or serious physical harm." Training is a crucial element to ensure
your employees are informed of the dangers and know what to do should threats
occur.
SAF134 WRITTEN PLANS & PROGRAMS
We perform a site program evaluation including a review of existing written
workplace safety & health plans and programs. Once the review is complete, we will
recommend any policies, plans, procedures, or programs that are not up-to-date with
current regulations or particular unaddressed hazards explicit to your workplace.
We also can draft missing OSHA plans or programs uncovered by the assessment of
your workplace and work with your staff in generating customized programs.

SAF400 PROCESS SAFETY FOR CHEMICAL OPERATIONS
This course presents in-depth training of process safety elements designed to
eliminate or reduce hazards identified in federal regulations and best practices
derived from lessons learned from real-life experience. By using presentation, case
studies and interactive exercises the course will provide attendees with knowledge
and skills to evaluate and improve existing process safety programs or develop a
program from the beginning.
Facilities that handle hazardous materials are at risk of catastrophic incidents from
fire, explosion, loss of containment and other process failures. These process failures
can result in casualties, injuries, property, environmental damage, and loss of the
business itself. By identifying and mitigating these risks with proven systems that
control process hazards the result is prevention of process failures and improvement
of operational efficiency.
LED100 COURAGEOUS LEADERSHIP

MED100 ACTIVE SHOOTER / STOP THE BLEED
Most people freeze in an emergency situation, but training and planning are proven
steps to surviving the worst possible situation. “Active Shooter” prepares you for the
worst possible situation and shows how run, hide and fight in order to survive. This
training is both classroom and video and is combined with “Stop the Bleed.”
Stop The Bleed is a national measure to raise awareness and encourage bystanders to
take action. Bleeding persons can die from blood loss within 5 minutes. Blood loss
prevention is a vital skill to possess if ever put in this type of dire situation. Many
lives could be saved if onlookers were more equipped for multiple casualty events like
terrorist attacks, earthquakes, and mass shootings. Being adequately trained to
provide care to a bleeding injury can make a life-saving difference. This course
includes basic bleeding control techniques like tourniquet application, direct pressure,
and wound packing.
MED101 AMERICAN DISABILITIES ACT

EMResources is a 39 year old company that has been in the safety and health business since its inception. We
are in business to help companies achieve their safety goals, and to do so in a cost-efficient and effective
manner. EMR has experience with commercial and governmental entities at all levels - State, Federal, and
Local. We also have instructors on three continents. While we have over 1100 instructors, we still subscribe to
the mom-and-pop theory that what we say is what we do. Integrity matters to us, results matter to us, and
people matter to us.
We understand that the hardest part of maintaining a safe and efficient workplace is incorporating a safety
mindset into the very fabric of your organization. We subscribe to the philosophy of looking at the man, the
machine, the mindset, the materials in the environment, the leadership, and how they all relate and interact.
We assess the key hazards, personal responsibility, and leadership necessary to make a real difference in your
workforce. We look forward to working with your organization to provide you with training and consultation
from some of the best of the best in the area of safety leadership.
