• Health Services Union or HSU is dedicated to protecting the rights of health professionals and aged care workers. If you are associated with healthcare services in NSW and act in aged care, private or public health become a member of HSU today and enjoy a host of benefits.

• HSU offers its members Journey Insurance under which a member is covered for accidents or injuries on the way to or from work. As a HSU member you are provided a financial support of a maximum of $1500 per week or up to 85% of the weekly wages. HSU Members also enjoy a range of payments for specific injuries. In case of death of a HSU member, the next of the kin receives a bereavement benefit of $10,000.

• The HSU has also been involved in several campaigns aiming at solving issues and making life easy for health professionals and aged care workers. Some of the campaigns include: $1000 no way campaign – against exorbitant parking charges, Know Workplace Bullying campaign, Ambulance Paramedics, Aged Care campaign and so on.
