Sacred Heart School News… SHS recently held its Annual Science Fair on

our campus. Students in grades 1st-5th were

eligible to participate, and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th

graders are required to produce a project.

This year’s Science Fair Winners are:

compete with other projects at the Diocesan Science Fair

held in Corpus Christi in March. Congratulations to all of

Diocesan Confirmation

Mass at the Corpus Christi

Cathedral at 3:00pm for

adults who have not been

Confirmed.

The celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation

will be for those Catholics who are:

At least 18 years old and who have

received Baptism and First Communion

and have not yet been Confirmed

Those desiring to receive Confirmation must be

prepared by the parish so that they have a good

understanding of the sacrament of Confirmation and

attend either a Confirmation Retreat offered by the

parish or a Confirmation Retreat offered by the

diocese. A diocesan retreat will be held on Saturday,

November 15, 2014 from 9am—12pm at the Corpus

Christi Cathedral, St. Joseph’s Hall.
