Dear Families, Friends and Staff,

I hope this letter finds you all safe and healthy. I am happy to say at this time allof our residents and staff continue to be virus free. We are working hard atkeeping the community disinfected and continuously washing our residentshands.

We have done our best to make sure our residents daily lives have not changeddue to Covid-19. They continue to have their daily activities and are entertainedby the staff.

Spring is definitely in the air. We may actually go straight into summer with these90 degree days. The warmer weather has had residents sitting outside, listening tomusic and soaking up the warm sun. On a good day the residents gather around thewindows and get to see the mama ducks and their babies in the courtyard. Veronicacaptured some beautiful pictures of this one day with the residents looking out thewindows. See the photos in this newsletter.

We are truly blessed to have Felix and our team of caregivers, programmers, medtech and housekeepers caring for our residents. They’re an amazing team whounselfishly come to work everyday wanting to care and love each of our resident. Please know that your loved one are being well taken care of.

When this virus is all over and the Carlton is back to what we will be calling normal,we will definitely have a celebration.

Please meet Elizabeth Feika.She is 22 years old and came to the UnitedStates from Sweenes, West Africa in 2014.

She has one sister and three brothers.

This is her first job as a caregiver and shewants to pursue certification as a nursingassistant.

Some of her hobbies include cooking,dancing, and making new friends.

We are excited to have her join the CarltonTeam!

Tommie Rider was born in Sacramento in1924.After graduating from CK McClatchy HighSchool in 1942, she worked as a key punchoperator for the Southern Pacific Railroad.Tommie has three daughters, tengrandchildren, and five great grandchildren!Lastly, she attends the Trinity Life Centerand has a passion for chocolate!
