ABOUT SABIC Technical Conference-12Under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, SABIC launches the 12th SABIC Technical conference.
SABIC Technical Conferences (STCs) are a platform for collaborative technology and innovation. They have become prominent events for the company that give scientists, researchers, chemists, engineers and technical experts from throughout SABIC’s global network a unique opportunity to build on cumulative experience. This will be the twelfth SABIC Technical Conference in our company’s illustrious history.
STCs have a reputation for showcasing state-of-the-art technology, expertise and creativity. The conferences are a forum for positive interactions and constructive debates, where experts discuss a wide range of topics. These include:
• Technology development and improvement (products and processes)
• Plant reliability management• Electrical and control systems• Sustainability, environmental
protection, and health and safety• Quality assurance and analytical
technology• Business development, management,
quality systems, and information technology
STM-11, which was held in 2014,
was a great accomplishment – a distinguished event that explored the latest advancements in technology and gave technical experts the opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences. The support of the management of SABIC and its manufacturing affiliates, and the hard work of dedicated individuals, were key to the event’s success.
The STC-12 Steering Committee is devoted to achieving SABIC’s global goals. The committee draws from a wealth of professional talent from throughout the company and is backed by committed organizing teams and management. The launch of STC-12, under the theme “Asset Integrity Excellence”, on November 6, 2016, will mark the 21st anniversary since the first
STM initially was held in 1994. The event will demonstrate SABIC’s culture of excellence in Asset Integrity and will support the company’s resolve to lead in this field.

SABIC Technical Conference-12EXHIBITION PAVILION SABIC Technical Conferences are staged every two years. 2016 marks the 12th edition that includes the exhibition, meetings, and networking opportunities for exhibitors and visitors.

• 6TH NOVEMBER 2016 : ATTENDANCE OF INVITED EXHIBITOR PRESENTATIONS IS OPEN FOR ALL INCLUDING NON-SABIC, EXCEPT TECHNICAL WORKSHOPS AND THE OPENING CEREMONY WHERE ATTENDANCE WILL BE LIMITED BY INVITATION.
• 7TH TO 9TH NOVEMBER, 2016 : ATTENDANCE OF EXHIBITION AND KEYNOTES SESSIONS ARE OPEN FOR ALL INCLUDING NON-SABIC, EXCEPT TECHNICAL SESSIONS WHICH ARE LIMITED TO SABIC AND ITS AFFILIATES EMPLOYEES ONLY. COMPANY ID IS REQUIRED.
• EXHIBITION WILL BE OPEN FOR ALL INCLUDING NON-SABIC ON THE 7TH TO 9TH NOVEMBER FROM 10:00 AM TO 18:00 PM (ON THE LAST DAY EXHIBITION WILL CLOSE AT 15:30). VISITORS REGISTRATION WILL BE AT THE EXHIBITION REGISTRATION DESKS.
