conict scenario.
WORKING AS ONE
Saabs systems, especially when used in combination with each
other, provide enhanced inantry combat capabilities, enabling
dismounted troops to take out a comprehensive range o
targets rom MBs and armoured vehicles to ortications and
non-armoured vehicles.
In 1999 Saab purchased the Celsius Group, the then parent
company o Swedish weapons manuacturer Boors.
oday, Saab produces some o the worlds nest weaponry, giving
orces the edge through precision engagement technology. Saab
utilises its heritage o both ballistic weapons and missile systems to

NLAW
NLAWTe NLAW is a single soldier missile system
that rapidly knocks out any MB within 20
to 600 m with just one shot by striking it
rom above. Te weapon has two modes o
operation: DA and OA. When targeting
tanks and other armoured vehicles, the
OA mode is used so the missile ies one
metre above the Line O Sight (LOS) and
the warhead initiates above the turret,
striking the most vulnerable area.
Te NLAW shoulder-red launched combat
weapon is comprised o an anti-tank missile
sealed within a disposable launch tube.
Although its primary targets are MBs
and Light Armoured Fighting Vehicles
(LAFVs), other targets such as troops in
buildings and non-armoured vehicles can
also be easily deeated.
Te lightweight weapon is intended
or deployment within light orces that
operate dismounted in all environments.
Te weapon incorporates CS technology,
reducing the noise and blast signature when
red and ofering improved survivability
or the operator. When a soldier is equipped
with the NLAW, he is given the power to
immediately destroy the most advanced
MB, wherever and whenever it appears
within combat range. Te NLAW systemis unique in that it can hit a target without
getting a lock-on, rom any aspect by ring
only one shot. Even hull-down or concealed
targets can be engaged and destroyed by the
system. As the weapon is easy to handle and
has a robust and insensitive design, it can
be widely dispersed throughout the military
organisation.
Te NLAW system is a non-expert combat
weapon which includes an innovative and
cost-efective training system. Te weapon
has a high SSKP and eatures PLOS missi le
guidance electronics, which uses the aiming
movement o the operator to predict the
ight path to the target, making it easy to
or the user to simply aim and re.
CUTTING EDGE
Many years o experience in developingshoulder-launched missiles and combat
solutions have been built into the NLAW,
resulting in an ergonomically optimised
and intuitive weapon. Well-proven
technologies in areas such as warhead,
guidance, uze, CS and IM are combined to
deliver the ultimate in anti-tank superiority.

BILL 2
BILL 2
Saabs BILL 2 man-portable, multi-mission
AGW missile system provides highly
accurate combat capability against both
static and moving targets. Tis system has
MR capabilities and will neutralise targets,
including uture generation MBs, at rangeso up to 2200 m through the delivery o a
tandem charge. Te BILL 2 is a crew operated
system, acilitating a rapid reloading time
or the operators and ensuring that any
threats have a minimal window in which
to respond. As well as being a lightweight,
highly portable two-man system, BILL 2 can
be integrated with vehicles.
Te missile itsel is wire-guided and
immune to jamming. Utilising Saabs
OA technology, it efectively attacks the
weakest point on targets including those
in dug-down positions. Te BILL 2 has an
extremely ast reaction speed due to it not
requiring lock-on or cooling down time.
Suitable or any terrain, the BILL 2 knocks
out everything rom MBs and LAFVs to
secondary targets. Te system has three
ring modes which greatly increases its
number o potential target types:
BASIC MODE
In this mode the system utilises Saabs OA
technology and the missiles interactive,
dynamically compensated, vertically striking,
shaped charges hit the MBs turret rom
above with devastating results.
NON-ARMOURED MODE
Tis mode uses the direct LOS with
disconnected sensors and hits non-armoured
targets with impact uze unctionality.
SOFT TARGET MODE
In so target mode the BILL 2 is ecient
against dismounted enemy troops. Using an
elevated ight path, the missile overcomes
obstacles and cover. With the magnetic
sensor deactivated, the optical sensor and
special algorithms provide total accuracy.

it is against land-based vehicles. It can
also be employed to protect xed-deenceinstallations, supply points and other
vital assets. Tere are currently three
congurations o the A4 available.
AT4 HIGH EXPLOSIVE ANTI-TANK (HEAT)
Tis is the original A4 system, a low-
trajectory and low-dispersion weapon
carrying a pre-loaded shell equipped with
a shaped charge. Te munitions are made
even more stable and efective with ns
that unold immediately aer the weapon
is red. It has a 300 m range and the HEA
munition provides devastating behindarmour efect.
Te HEA round delivers multiple efects
to the target, causing more than just high
internal temperatures. Enemy vehicle crews
are also taken out by blinding light and over
pressure. Te A4 HEA is highly efective
against CVs, LAFVs, older tanks and many
other military vehicles.
AT4 CS
Te A4 CS has a reduced blast signature,
lowering the risk o the operator giving awayhis position when ring the weapon. Suited
to the tight connes o urban warare, its
special internal ballistics allows it to be red
rom inside buildings, dense jungle, in ront
o obstacles or with your own troops in
close vicinity.
Te A4 CS is available preloaded with a
specially developed HEA HP warhead
that produces an armour-penetration efect
that easily exceeds 500 mm, making it
lethal against most types o targets on the
battleeld. Te A4 CS is also availablepreloaded with a HEA RS round.
Te HEA RS is optimised or behind
armour efect. Tis weapon is efective
against LAFVs and many other military
vehicles. Te HEA RS round ofers a high
IM prole.
AT4 CS AST
Using the A4 CS AS, the single soldier can have
access to an accurate and easy-to-use weapon
with the capability to deeat a multitude o
targets that characterise the close combat ourban operations.
Te tandem warhead o A4 CS AS is
designed to be able to deeat a large number
o diferent targets, ranging rom an enemy
position behind heavy brick or reinorced
concrete walls to an enemy within a eld
ortication or in a light armoured vehicle.
Tis conguration o the A4 also allows
you to blast man-sized breach holes
through dense walls, allowing your troops
