SA for SR did various health camps for rural and urbanslums populace in which many villages were treated.

SA for SR also did stampede awareness campaign inKumbh area of Allahabad, in which pilgrims were made

aware, that how to make safe in stampede like situation,SA For SR were identified by the Mass Media and

SA for SR also approached by various Public and PrivateOrganizations as Indian Oil Corporation, Union Bank ofIndia and numerous others to perform their CSR activities.

During village stay programme we mobilized the tribal

community of village MOZRA, District- Allahabad andthey started campaign against the autocracy of PDS and fortheir village head who were exploiting the villagers fromlong back, this campaign later turned in to the NEW PDSofficer and village head of that village.

SA for SR helped one tribal to get their land which was

acquired by money lender of the same village from 40 yearsback.

We did Formation of SHGs & JLGs for sustainablelivelihood. Linkages of SHGs & JLGs to Bank andother various government institutions & schemes

which makes them to income generation activities.Initiated night classes for educating the members

of SHGs and give them proper guidance.

y PRA is an international recognized tool of Research/Action socio-economic development of micro level entitieslike villages; here villages not only become researchersthemselves for indentifying developmental problems butalso indentifying solutions and commit for sharing theresponsibilities after genuinely preparing the plans bythemselves developmental activities are initiated andvarious group of the community. Infect Indian villagesconsidering their socio-economic diversities need to beassessed on by use of such techniques and put in for

developmental journey.We as MBA (RD) students have specified and practicallyconducted PRA studies in villages and initiate developmentinterventions.

y SA for SR Participated in 3 days immersion work.During this period we undertook a preliminary surveyof the village Pratappur in Allahabad district,

primarily to explore the functioning of PanchayatInstitutions. The exploration also helped in acquiringfirst hand experience of governance, reflected in the

interaction of public with the government

y From Participatory Rural Appraisal Method weidentified the need of Mrdapur villages Comes Under

Allahabad District and prepare project for them withIOC help.

y SA for SR also organized various health camps in manyvillages.

Participated in 6 Days village visit stay program inMozra village of Allahabad district. Here we learnt

about functions and conditions of SHGs andprogrammes like MNREGA. We formed couple ofSHGs and linked them to governmentemploymentschemes.
