TO REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION NTC Building, BIR Road, East Triangle, Diliman, Quezon City Email: ntc@ttc. gov.ph; website: http: //www.ntc.sov.ph IIIEMORANDUM ORDER NO. : r4r-O7-2O20 : NTC CENTRAL OFFICE AND REGIONAL OFFICES ALL CONCERNED SUBJECT : INTERIM GUIDELINES IN THE RENEWAL CERTIFICATES, PERMITS OR LICENSES DURING STATE OF PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY 29 JULY 2O2O DATE : In the interest of public service and pursuant to subsisting laws, executive issuances and rules and regulationsl, enjoining allgovernment agencies to render full assistance and cooperation and mobilizing the necessary resour@s to undertake critical, urgent, and appropriate responses and measures in a timely manner to curtail and eliminate the COVID-19, the National Telecommunications Commission, by virtue of its authority vested under existing laws, hereby promulgates/issues the following interim guidelines in the renewal of certificates, permits or licenses during the period of state of public health emergency due to COVID-19 pandemic: 1. All existing certificates, permits and licenses2, to operate radio communications equipment, networks and facilities, public (telecom), broadcast, government or private, in various radio services3, expiring in the current year shall remain valid and may be renewed on or before the last working day of December 2020 without penalties or surcharges. Thereafter, appropriate penalties or surcharges shall be imposed. 2. Telecommunications Entities may file/submit applications for renewalof permits and/or licenses at the NTC Gentral Office.

3. Submission and approval of applications for renewal are subject to theguidelines provided under Memorandum Order No. 1 347 -2020 dated22 July 2O2O.

These guidelines shall be in effect in areas under enhanced or general communityquarantine and amends Memorandum Order No. 12-07-2020 dated 22 July 2020.
