Back up operation

This menu allows to save on the CT the NE configuration.

To backup theconfigurationwrite thefilename in theBackup field.

In the upperpart appearsthe list of thepreviouslycreatedbackups.

Press ConfirmBackup to startthe operation.

By pressingRefresh the

list is updatedwith theinsertion of thejust createdbackup.

The Backup menu is available from the top menu Supervision MIB management

This menu allows to remove from the list of the backups one particularbackup.


Remove file operation

To remove abackup selectthe backup filein the upperpart.

By pressingRefresh thelist ofbackups inthe upperpart of thescreen isupdated.

Press ConfirmRemove tostart theoperation.

The Remove file menu is available from the top menu Supervision MIB management

This menu allows to download to the NE a previously created backup.

3. To activate the new configuration enter command MIB Management Activate.


Restore operation

Select one of thebackups to bedownloaded inthe upper part

Press Confirm

Restore to start theoperation.

The Restore menu is available from the top menu Supervision MIB management

Exercise

Perform a Back up of the configuration.

Change the configuration.

Perform the Restore of the previous Back up.
