For optimum performance,use Klipsch Tangent full range speaker systems as your left andright front channels and rear surrounds. A Klipsch Tangent video shielded center channel shouldbe positioned on top of or below the television set, andtwo Klipsch Tangent full range speakers are used as leftand right front channels. In the overhead view, twoKlipsch Tangent speakers have been added as rear surroundchannels. One or two Klipsch powered subwoofers arepositioned to reproduce low frequencies.

-Do NOT connect a loudspeaker directly to any AC electricalwall outlet. Connection should be made only to an audioamplifier or equivalent component and only as described inthe section entitled "How to Connect".-Do NOT operate the loudspeaker under extremely humid oradverse temperature conditions.-Regardless of your amplifier's rated capacity, do NOT oper-ate the speakers at the full output (highest volume) position ofthe amplifier. Amplifiers create extremely high 'levels ofdistortion when operated at full output and such distortionlevels can cause damage to your loudspeakers.-Position speaker connection wires so that they do not createa hazard.

How TO CONNECTGood cable and connections will make an audible improvement inthe sound of your TANGENT Loudspeakers.1. Switch electronics to the "off' position.2. For the left loudspeaker, connect the wire from the black termi-nal to the electronics speaker output tenninal for the left channellabeled "common," "ground," "-," or colored black.3. Then connect the wire from the red loudspeaker terminal to theelectronics speaker output terminal for the left channel labeled"8.0.," "+," or colored red. (The wires of lampcord can be distin-guished from one another by noting that one insulating jacket issmooth while the other has a "ridge" or other distinguishing marks.4. Follow the same procedure for the right loudspeaker.
