In view of the large number of COVID-19 related activities being undertaken across the state, the need has arisen for instituting a system of nomenclature ;that can be used to tag all the facilities where COVID positive patients are being housed or treated, and containment areas notified to prevent outbreaks. The nomenclature shall be used by all authorities to effectively manage the data being collected for the purpose of activities such as sample collection at the facilities as well as to track the use of facilities by patients at the central level.

The unique codes will begin with an alphabetic code corresponding to the facility or area which it represents:
