PAGB Awards for Photographic Merit

Advisory Workshops

Saturday 2nd November & Sunday 3rd November 2019 at The Old Schoolhouse, Churchbridge, Oldbury B69 2AS.

Two one-day workshops are being held at the Smethwick Photographic Society meeting rooms. These workshops are intended for anyone who is considering applying for, or has been accepted for an Adjudication for one of the PAGB Awards for Photographic Merit in either Print or PDI. The aim of the workshops is to provide an introduction to the requirements and standards of work expected and participants will have an opportunity to have a sample of their work viewed by experienced adjudicators and receive feedback to inform them if their work is suitable to pursue an APM and which level may be appropriate. The MCPF will be hosting the APM Adjudications in April 2020 and this may be a suitable workshop for anyone intending to submit an application for that event. The cost for attending one of these workshops is £15 for those bringing images for advice and £10 for observers. There is a maximum of 30 places available for participants on each day. Tickets for participants will be allocated on a first-come basis and bookings will not be confirmed until the monies are received.
