Dear Nobles and Ladies,
Hello to all Nobles and La-dies, we are busy making our final plans for the Shriners Ball on Saturday March 30th. Hope everyone has a large time!
Our Treasurer Noble Leon Brooks and his Lady Pat are in Tampa at Treasurer’s school. I know they are learning a lot and probably having fun.
We made our final Divan visit on March 16th to Concho Shrine Club. They were hosting there yearly Chili cookoff and we got to be Judges. We had to judge 35 different chili’s. We had a great time. We finished it off with a live Auction under the direction of our own High Priest and Profit Joel Lemley. Good Job!
We made the Daughters of the Nile open installation, it was very Nice and I would like to wish
Queen Jerri Young the very best for her up coming year.
The Shrine Ladies Purse Raffle is still underway and they need our support to make this a big fundraiser for the Temple! Our Number one Sales person con-tinues to be our Past Potentate Danny Crowder. I think everyone in Eldorado has bought a ticket.
Start thinking about TSA and let me know if you plan on going. Right now I have 18 people that plans on being at TSA in Wichita Falls June 6 through 8th.
Nobles and Ladies, Shelly and I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you down the road! Remember EVERYONE COUNTS AND MATTERS.
Many Thanks & God Bless !
Yours in the Faith,
Donald Bunnell, Potentate
We wi l l have Thom J.Sloan,CFRE,FACHE, Administrative Direc-tor, Donor Development, Shriners Hospitals for Children-Houston . Say-ing a few words at our meal before our meeting!

The momentum in the Shrine is changing and so is our ex-posure. Thanks to Website and Social Media Platforms like Face-book, Twitter, Instagram and others. Shriners International, Shriners Hospitals for Children as well as each Hospital, most Temples and many Shrine Clubs have accounts. Please look these up and follow them. A Big Thank you to those that send in your pictures and information. Please ask someone in your club to remember to take pictures of your Social Meetings, Parades and events. Also, how about that amazing young lady on this Month’s cover. Read more about Jesse and her trip to the Abilene Shrine Club later in the issue and be on the lookout for more news and pictures on this amazing kid that Loves what Shriners have done to help her.
Houston Hospital NewsHouston 1 - Nothing is impossible and our patients
demonstrate that all the time. Just last year Jesus was an inpatient at our hospital receiving a prosthetic leg and care for his arm. While he was here, he mentioned to us that he aspired to participate in the Paralympics one day. Today, this young man is well on his way to accomplish big things. A 100 meter track athlete, he won gold in a tournament in Colima, Mexico. We could not be more proud of Jesus and all the patients that we have the privilege of serving. Keep going and don’t stop Jesus!

He has been tackling in the field since he was six years old, but in 2018, Adison had to overcome much more than a strong football offensive line. After having his right leg amputated due to a gunshot wound, Adison and his family were referred to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Houston.”He had to overcome many difficult challenges,” said Adison’s father, Daniel. “Physical therapy was hard for him. He would cry out in pain, but he prevailed.” The now 11-year-old, is back in the field, less than a year since his injury. He is a defensive lineman for the Broncos, a team in a local youth league in Eagle Pass.“The hospital is a 6.5 hour drive from home but it’s worth it coming down here for the quality of care,” said Daniel. “The people, the service—it’s been excellent. We are thankful for everything they have done for us.” To find out more about visit their website at shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/Houston.

Happy Birthdayapril 2019
In a medical emergency every second counts... especially when you are far away
from adequate medical care.
In the event of a serious emergency, whether you are on the highway, on the job, on
the football field, hunting, at the ranch, or at home you can depend on the dedicated
pilots and flight crew at Shannon AirMed 1, the local AirMed Care Network provider, to
be there. They are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 356 days a year.
We have been providing this life saving service to rural communities since 1985. In
recent years we have partnered with some of the leading air ambulance companies
in the country and now provide service across 38 states, with 320 fixed wing and
helicopter base locations across the county.
Give your family the peace of mind they deserve, become a AirMedCare
Network member for as little as $65 a year, and have no out of pocket
costs should you need to be flown due to a medical emergency.
