A town’s character can be changed by thisluminaire design: the hood and trough ofthe Siteco DL®800 luminaire reach upwardin a parabola intersected horizontally by asolid ring mounting. The contrast of curveand right angle, transparency and solidmaterial create a suspended effect.

Natural. Exciting.The DL®800 uses natural materials:Aluminium die-casting and anodizedaluminium, stainless steel, clear or satin-frosted glass (PMMA). Perfect, smoothsurfaces, flawlessly fashioned joints andconnections – quality you can see andtouch.
Siteco DL®800 luminaires are rotationallysymmetrical. However they are turned orrotated, every perspective shows them attheir most visually exciting.
The upper neck of the mast forms part ofthe luminaire. Result: a lantern and mastin perfect harmony – and no assemblycosts!

Harsh climate? No problem!The DL®800 is filigree, yet robust. Withprotection class IP66 it is guaranteeddustproof and water jet-proof.
In the Siteco laboratory we have testedthe DL®800 against heavy rain and simu-lated severe traffic vibration. The result:the DL®800 is guaranteed to remain un-ruffled by the modern urban environmentand the harshest of weathers.
The cover on the edge of the trough is offset slightly upward. This harmoniousdesign feature acts like a drip rim; it alsoincreases the impact strength of theluminaire well beyond the required stan-dards and increases protection againstdamage caused by vandalism.

Highlight in every situation.The DL®800 feels completely at homeeven in a small town. It is so adaptablethat it provides a completely individualdesign for any urban space: pedestrianzones, parks, car parks, paths and streets.
We have developed various masts andcantilevers, hood variants and troughtypes for a great appearance in everysituation. The look of the DL®800 comescourtesy of a hood and trough made ofclear glass (PMMA). The DL®800 with itsstainless steel hood reflects the sky andwith a hood made of dull-anodized alumi-nium the DL®800 gives an overall castappearance.
The curved DL®800 design mast assumesthe characteristic shape of the lanternand lends it a unique and attractive day-light effect.
Light to measure.More light? The standard mast comeswith single cantilever bracket or a 2-armdesign with the option to select the morestyled curved mast. Lighting variants likethe fan-shaped reflector or the asymme-trical reflector diffuse the light onto thesurrounding area with a uniform quality.
Warm lamp colours attract people. Noctur-nal animals, on the other hand, are leftcold by warm light – so that the DL®800makes towns more attractive whileprotecting the environment!

Protect and save.DL®800 luminaires are equipped witheconomical Siteco Savelight components:Siteco Savelight control gear with thermalprotection switch off safely in the eventof lamp defects and therefore avoid anunacceptably high temperature build-up.
Siteco Savelight reducer relays with timerhalve the illumination during slack periods,reducing energy consumption by some 25 per cent. The lamps always start underfull load – even after a supply voltageinterruption or when switching on inreduced mode – saving the lamps andguaranteeing the defined light intensity.Siteco Savelight ignitors with automaticswitch-off reduce electromagnetic faultsduring the ignition process and simplifylocalisation of defective lamps. Automaticswitch-off increases the service life ofthe ignitor.
