General informationRFH

► RFH was founded by the Russian Government, September 8,1994.

► RFH reviewers: ap. 1 500 recognized Russian scientists employed by 390 research institutions and representing over 50 regions of the Russian Federation.

► RFH conducts annual competitions for support of research projects, including: - general call for proposals,- regional calls – with participation of 50 regions of the Russian Federation, - international calls - with partners from 14 countries, - targeted calls.

► Within the time span of 17 years the Foundation has received and  reviewed more than 110 000 projects and funded more than 35 000. Funding has contributed to

- work of more than 20 000 research teams;-  publication of more than 4 500 thousand scientific books;

- publication of more than 100 000 scientific articles;- organization of more than 2 000 scientific conferences;- creation of about 1 000 information resources including on-line.

► RFH has provided support for a total of more 250 000 Russian scientists, including over 80 000 young scientists.
