Why we have chosen this theme Nowadays a lot of people are fond
of travelling. But in the present day political situation there are
some problems with travelling to European countries, thats why more
and more people would like to know about sights and pleasures in
Southeast-Asian countries. Indonesia is one of these countries and
we are lucky to live and study here.
Slide 3
The aim of our work We are going to introduce this far away
country, to attract your attention to its places of interest and
beautiful traditions and reveal some necessary points while
travelling across this island state.
Slide 4
Indonesia in Brief Indonesia or officially the Republic of
Indonesia is a sovereign state in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Indonesia is an archipelago comprising 17000 of islands. About 500
of them even dont have names. Indonesia is a republic with a
presidential system. Administratively, Indonesia consists of 34
provinces, five of which have special status. Each province has its
own legislature and governor. Lying along the equator, Indonesia
has a tropical climate with two distinct wet and dry seasons.
Indonesia is the largest Muslim-majority country in the world.
Slide 5
Jakarta - the capital of Indonesia Jakarta-officially known as
the Special Capital Region of Jakarta- is the capital and the
largest city of Indonesia. It is one of the most populated urban
agglomerations in the world.
Slide 6
Jakarta has an estimated population of 10.2 million in 2014, up
from 9.58 million in 2010. Jakarta is now considered to be a global
city and one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
Interestingly, Jakarta now has the highest return on investment for
luxury real estate in 2014 compared to any other city on earth.
Theres lots of beautiful buildings and hotels but there are many
poor people and kids too. Jakarta is a very crowed city
Slide 7
The Sights of Jakarta Being in Jakarta, you can visit such
famous museums as the National Museum, the Wayang Museum, the
Museum of Batik. You will find here a lot of interesting and
amazing facts about the history and culture of Indonesia. The most
favourite places are Park Anchol (or Ocean Dream) and
Mini-Indonesia Park.
Slide 8
Safari Safari Park If you have free time, then you should
definitely visit the Safari in Puncak (it the place not far from
Jakarta). This is not just a place; it is a kingdom of very rich
flora and faun. Here you can see different animals from different
parts of the world. The park is divided into several parts, from a
petting zoo to picnic areas. When you enter the safari park, you
pass a large circle, watching and feeding the animals, and then you
leave and you can stroll through the huge territory.
Slide 9
Safari Park Personally, I love to go to the terrarium, ride a
different horseback riding, and go to a horror movie. Every time
being here, I still take photos with monkeys, lions and elephants.
Here you can feel like a wild animal in the jungle getting close to
the animals. Watching the life of the animals, we learn a lot of
new, interesting things about them. This is one of my favorite
places; here I am united with my family. A lot can be said, but
better to see the safari than to listen to a long story

Yogyakarta the soul of Indonesia Yogyakarta is a city on the
island of Java. The city is known as a center of classical Javanese
fine art and culture, particular in batik, ballet, drama, music,
poetry and puppet shows. Borobudur and Prambanan are the two
ancient temple complexes. Merapi, the largest active volcano in

Bali
Slide 12
Bali is a magical place. As probably the most famous island in
Indonesia, Bali blends spectacular mountain scenery and beautiful
beaches with warm and friendly people, a vibrant culture and out of
this world resorts.
Slide 13
Bali Bali is an island and province of Indonesia. Bali is the
largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its
highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance,
sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music. Since the
late 20th century, the province has had a rise in tourism.
Slide 14
The trip to Bali This palace has been shaped in the form of a
beautiful water garden and it is located near a natural spring. The
scenery of the area is fantastic with great views and the climate
is relatively cool. These facts, together with the religious rites
of the spring, inspired the Raja to build himself a private country
house nearby this spring set amidst a beautiful recreational
garden. He called it Tirtagangga derived from the words 'Tirta'
(blessed water) and 'Gangga. 'The water of Tirtagangga has always
been regarded as holy and is regularly used for religious temple
ceremonies.
Slide 15
The trip to Bali The ocean in Bali is net. There are colorful
fishes and very beautiful coral reefs. You can walk underwater and
breathe with help of a helmet.
Slide 16
Belitung Mystical Belitung (Belitung), cant be found in popular
guidebooks. It is hidden by the Northern part of Sumatra and is
still not fully open, deserted and not tainted by the jewel of
Southeast Asia. Situated between the South China and the Java seas
of the Pacific ocean, as if it is barricaded by Sumatra from
dangerous currents and floating debris, which simply does not reach
its shores, Belitung, even in low season, bathes in the shallow
turquoise water surrounded by small Islands - satellites
Slide 17
Kepayang island The island is slowly being renovated and opened
its beaches for foreign visitors. Now some words about beaches. The
sand is pure white, thin, similar to powdered sugar. It is of such
high quality that VIP resorts in Singapore and Malaysia imported it
to their artificial beaches. And besides all this sand was mined
for the manufacture of glass
Slide 18
Tanjungpandan The capital of the Belitung Tanjungpandan cannot
be called the abode of night life and noisy parties. This modest
but surprisingly clean town, is not a seeker of fame as Kuta or
Pattaya. In the evening on the main street a small caf is open.
Here you can drink the famous Bintang beer, and have dancing, and
if you want, even sing - smiling DJs gladly will give you the
microphone.
Slide 19
The stones of Belitung The stones of Belitung is a separate and
very mystical story. Someone from the locals believes that these
boulders fell from the sky, but, in fact, this beauty is not only
as a gift from the heavens. Each beach in Belitung is surrounded
with stones of different colors and types, each stone has its own
story. And it is impossible to tear your eyes away from these
natural scenery. In the evening one of the best practice here is to
sit on the stone Tingyi and, watching the sun sink into the ocean,
wait for the beginning of the meteor shower (which is the landmark
of Belitung

Putri : Another place in Indonesia, close to Jakarta, I want to
tell you about, is Putri Island You can reach it from the boat
station Marino by a speedboat, It will take you about 60 minutes.
The island is located in the archipelago of the Thousand Islands
and it is about 50 km North of Jakarta in the Java sea. In fact
there are about 105 Islands. Many of these Islands are uninhabited,
and many are in private ownership, such as this:
Slide 21
The island Putri is a great place to relax from the urban
bustle, enjoy a swim in the sea with fins and mask and have a good
time. On the island is a beautiful pool, a tennis court, a unique
underwater aquarium (on the bottom of the sea a tunnel of glass is
made, in which you can go down and walk on foot). Also on the
island you can rent a horse, equipment for diving and snorkeling or
take a ride on the banana.
Slide 22
Putri But walking around the island, we came upon a strange
footprints in the sand and wanted to understand what it was. What
do you think it was?
Slide 23
Once learned, we decided to stay away. Except for these
creatures, which the locals call saltwater crocodiles, there is
nothing more extraordinary here. Beautiful island in all
respects.
Slide 24
Important tips for travellers Indonesia is a very interesting
and many-sided country, but at the same time it has dangers. We
decided to write you about some of them. Dangers of Indonesia
Volcanoes. Indonesia is the country with one of the highest levels
of volcanic activity in the world. Majestic and mysterious
volcanoes attract a great number of tourists, some of which (on
lack of information) become the victims of suddenly raged
elements.

Important tips for travellers Climate. During a season of rains
considerable danger in Indonesia is represented by the pernicious
landslides which are suddenly covering roads and the whole
settlements with tons of dirt and stones, claiming the human lives.
Insects Tropical climate of Indonesia is a real paradise for the
various flying and creeping insects capable to cause many troubles
to the careless tourists. As insects are attracted by sugar and
sweet, it is recommended not to leave on clothes sweet spots after
food (especially some fruit), and also to take a shower several
times a day.
Slide 26
tips for travellers Important tips for travellers Dangerous
animals There are poisonous insects and snakes, large predatory
animals on the land, jellyfishes and sharks in sea waters. These
and many other dangerous animals, certainly, can be met in natural
violence of the Indonesian islands, however, on Bali and other
resort zones chance to face them many times less, than in India or
on Sri Lanka. The best-known terrible inhabitant of the Indonesian
islands are the huge komodsky monitor lizards what are famous for a
habit of attacking the chosen victim suddenly. Be careful and
everything will be OK!
