2018 STAR WARS™ HALF MARATHON - THE DARK SIDE

HALF MARATHON TRANSPORTATION

Welcome to your runner’s retreat. As our guest, you are encouraged to take advantage of the runner’s amenities provided exclusively for you by our team. Many of our team members are runners as well, and we were inspired to create the ultimate experience for participants in our Marathon Weekend.

Special complimentary bus transportation is provided for the Half Marathon! Join us for a pre-race celebration beginning at 2:45am on Sunday at the Convention Center entrance. We will be doing one BIG send-off at 3:00am! Bus sign up is required. Please see the Runners’ Concierge to reserve your spot on the bus! Sign up ends on Saturday, April 21 at 6:00pm. You will receive a wristband which is your ticket to get on the bus. All Half Marathon bus transportation will depart from the Hilton Convention Center Entrance (adjacent to Zeta Asia) and will drop you off at EPCOT (bus lot). From EPCOT, you will take the Disney shuttle to the parking lot at Magic Kingdom® Park to get into your corral.

For your return on Sunday, we will have a bus running from 7:30am to 12:00pm, departing approximately every 30 minutes from Epcot. Thereafter, please refer to the shuttle bus schedule for pick up times. After the race, the bus will pick up at the Charter Bus Parking Lot, Space 25 at Epcot. Please look for Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek signs. We will make every attempt to meet our promoted bus schedule; however, we cannot control any delays due to traffic.

Ready to cheer on your runner? You are welcome to utilize the complimentary transportation that is being offered to runners of the Half Marathon - if you choose to do so, you need to register in advance at our Runner’s Concierge. There is no other scheduled transportation at this time. You are as always, welcome to drive your own vehicle - however, please note that Disney may close access roads during the race.

HALF MARATHON INFORMATION

START ZONE

RACE FINISH

The start zone for the Half Marathon is located in the Rapunzel Parking Lot at Magic Kingdom® Park. Runners will be prohibited from accessing the start corrals from Floridian Way or Seven Seas Drive. Runners must access the start corrals through the Rapunzel Parking Lot at Magic Kingdom® Park. Please plan on at least a 20-minute walk from the start zone to your corral which is located in the Mulan Parking Lot.

The letter on your race bib will correspond with your assigned corral. Signs and event personnel will help you find your corral. For safety reasons and as a courtesy to others, please line up in the appropriate corral 30 minutes prior to the race start.

After the race, the bus will pick up at the Charter Bus Parking Lot, Space 25 at Epcot. Please look for our Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek signs. We will have a bus running from 7:30 am to 12:00pm, departing approximately every 30 minutes from Epcot. Thereafter, please refer to the regular bus schedule for pick up times or text your runners concierge at 407-588-0777

Participants of Disney’s Star Wars™ Half Marathon have a chance to WIN A WEEKEND STAY at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek by predicting their expected finish time.

Entry forms are located in your welcome bag. Only one entry per participant. The runner closest to his or her time will be named the winner. In case of a tie, one winner will be selected from the Half Marathon. Drop off your completed form to the Runners’ Concierge before your race. See entry form in your welcome bag for full details.
