Zoar Woods

education conservation stewardship

A treasure in Tuscarawas county.

About In 1973, Tom Kane, Sr. donated Zoar Woods to The Wilderness Center so it could become a natural resource center for education, recreation and research. The Wilderness Center continues to maintain the trails and manage the property. The 1.5 mile Zoar Woods trail winds across a stream, through deciduous and coniferous forests, and past a bluff with a beautiful vista. As you view the wildlife and vegetation of this beautiful place, please do your part to care for the land.
