Mike Lupica, his stories are always so interesting and filled with detail, and his stories are about sports. What genre do you prefer to read? Suspense because it makes me want to read on. Where do you learn about books you might want to read in the future? Going online and looking up books. Where do you like to read best? In my room, laying in my bed, because it relaxes me. R ules is about a girl named Catherine who had rules for her little brother David, and rules for meeting someone new. David had special problems and Catherine was trying to help him become a normal brother. David had to go to special classes to help him with his speech. One day when Catherine was waiting for David to be done with class, she saw a boy named Jason who also had special needs. Over time, she talked to Jason and found out he couldn’t speak so he had word cards he used to speak. Catherine ended up making more word cards for Jason and drawing pictures on the back of them. She always made more cards for him so he had an expanded vocabulary. Jason really liked having Catherine as a friend and enjoyed her company. There was also a new girl who lived next to Catherine named Kristi. Catherine wanted to be friends with the new girl. Throughout the story, Catherine had her ups and downs with David, Jason, and Kristi. Catherine had an interesting time during the story with all her problems, and solving them. This book was very interesting and worthwhile to read. You should read this book because it always had me wanting to read on.
