Late Sh. Seth Pokhar Mal
Late Smt. Rukmini Devi
Our Inspiration
Shri. K.C. GargFounder
Late Sh. Seth Pokhar Mal was a great visionary who always thought ahead of time to help the society through education. He firmly believed that Knowledge is the product of an educational institution. He was a strategist, an institution builder, a mentor, an inspirational leader and a relationship builder. We would continue to take inspiration from his work in the field of education and would always be grateful for his ideas and encouragement.
Late Smt. Rukmini Devi, wife of Seth Pokhar Mal Ji, was a great philanthropist. She had immense regard for ethical values in life and was deeply imbibed with love for children. She always visualized a beautiful world of children full of innocence, happiness and virtues. “Seth Pokhar Mal Educational Society” took upon itself the task of converting her dream into reality. In 1986, the society started Rukmini Devi Public School, perpetuating her name, immediately after the registration of the society. In course of time, SPMES established Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies (RDIAS) as well, amongst as several other institutions.
RDIAS aims at creating an environment which develops young men and women into competent professional managers who would work for any sector of organized activity, achieve excellence in performance, rise to become leaders and contribute to the welfare of society. The curriculum exposes the students to a number of real life situations and contemporary tools of analysis that have been perfected through the case method of pedagogy. RDIAS constantly strives to remain on the cutting edge of modern education, instilling teamwork, a global focus, an ability to innovate, and above all, an unflinching stress on excellence in its students.
Col. (Retd.) Mahander Singh

Student Mentorship through Corporate Training Program: Making Students Industry Ready
Background : India's growth story has a long way to go and if we wish to realize the dream of making India an economic super power, training and development of young India is the need of the hour. We have enormous advantage of age and have abundant man power available, however, when it comes to quality of man power; we hear of shortage stories all around due to non availability of industry ready students. Initiating a corporate training program in this direction as the long term solution is significant.
Introduction : The Corporate Training Program (CTP) is a collection of customized modules, designed and planned specifically for the students of BBA, MBA and MCA. At RDIAS we believe that the most important function of education at any level is to develop the personality of the individual and to instill within the student the significance of his life to himself and to others. At the end of this rigorous and detailed module, rise in self esteem and self worth is witnessed and the student with pride says: “Because I am worth it!”
Aim and Objective : The training module is aimed at the promotion of the strategies for the personality development of the students at graduate and post graduate level. The rationale behind this endeavor is the recognition of the multifaceted influence of the personality of the students for future effectiveness. The objective of the corporate training program is to bring about personality development. Also, to remove or screen out barriers or obstructions which stand in the way of the expression of individual personality, through a process of training.
Outcome : The outcome of the CTP program is effective grooming of students, offering a perfect blend of knowledge, temperament, emotions, principles and behavior.

Alumni Speak
• I have gained good knowledge here, studies new subjects and learned many computer languages, C, Java, Linux, C++ , Visual Basic and what not which helped me in my career growth. And along with that, the meaning of making dependable relationships. I have been under the guidance of one of the finest teachers in this profession and can never forget such names -- Preeti Mehta, Surbhi Deshpande, Neetu Goel, Manoj Kumar Gupta, Manisha Kaushik and many more. My dear pals, who helped me through when I was really struggling, I can never forget them. Some of my wonderful friends are a gift for me from this college. Similarly, I recall the day when one of my best teachers, Neetu ma'am called me over and in her own way, really gave me a talking down , stating that I really must perform better. These and so many more little anecdotes were really my anchor in this mad city of Delhi.I got the best of the placements. I got placed in one of the best MNC, Aon Hewitt. The experience with the company so far has been great.
Aminesh Singh MCA Batch of 2009-12.
• “Try hard to get what you like..Otherwise you will be forced to like what you get”
I am thankful to the faculty of RDIAS and the placement department, for giving me a platform to kickstart my career in a top notch Financial company. The innumerable guest lectures, conferences, workshops, industrial visits, MSD sessions, presentations, case studies and alike transformed me into an extrovert which groomed my personality and added another dimension to my managerial acumen. The theories and their practical aspects taught to us made sure we get a holistic view of the concept which were of great help in getting placed with a company and profile of my choice.

The batch of 2017 is a vibrant group of professionals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds with a keen aptitude to learn and nurture the progress of the institute with high level of energy. Our students are trained and ensured for their all-round development which is necessary for realization of one's full potential; the institute facilitates the students for games & sports. Participation in extra-curricular activities like debates, dramatics, and pursuit of hobbies through a large number of students' driven clubs and committees on campus which is also strongly encouraged. In association of students, I have learnt about them that they are really passionate and highly pursued towards the achievement of great heights. As we always say that if we dream high we reach the mountain. The caliber among Rumanians is above the mountains. They are enriched with high class professional education, having an intellectual pursuits taught with diverse perspectives through well designed presentations, classroom discussions, case analysis, assignments, exercises, simulations, independent studies and international immersion. Students also learn from a peer group of extremely successful professionals, and interact with industry leaders and experts through seminars, guest lectures, conferences and other management events.
