devotional time this year and of course we said yes! After some time spent in prayer,God laid it on our hearts to share with these young people that He has a plan foreach and every one of their lives (Jeremiah 29:11). We also told them to not let theirage, gender, the mistakes they make or the circumstances surrounding their homelife make them feel like they can’t be used by God. We shared with them how Godused people like Joseph, David and Josiah to do great things for His Kingdom at avery young age. We encouraged them to start praying and seeking God’s guidancenow, while they are young, in what He wants them to do with their lives instead ofwaiting till they were older. We told them to watch out for the distractions thatSatan will throw their way to get them off of the path that God has laid out for theirlives. It was a blessed time and we could tell that we had their attention.

The next morning Jeff told us that God had really moved in his cabin later thatnight! Two of the boys confided in Jeff and one of the other leaders about differentsituations that were going on in their lives. God gave Jeff and the other leader anopportunity to talk and pray with the boys and reassure them that God loves andcares for them. One of the older boy’s even gave words of encouragement to ayounger boy who was going through some struggles. Isn’t God just plainAWESOME!!! I love what He is doing in lives of these young people through theTruth in Nature ministry! Praise God!

The next morning we met up with the North Georgia Striper Club Captain’s andtheir boats (who again donated their time, boats, gas, rods/reels and the bait thisyear) at 7:00am and enjoyed a great day of fishing on Lake Lanier. The kids had anamazing time and the fishing was the best we’ve had for this event since its startthree years ago! There were some very nice sized fish caught throughout themorning; 6 stripers over 13 lbs. and a spotted bass weighing in at 5 lbs.! After a fullmorning of fishing we all met back at the park pavilion for high fives, fishing talesand lunch! The event seems to go by so fast and soon it was time to head back anddrop off the kids. Everyone had a great time and the Lord blessed us with a greatand safe event! We praise and thank God for the opportunity to come along sideTIN and show the love of Christ to this great group of young people and lookforward to what God has in store for the event next year!

Thanks again for all of your prayer and/or financial support it’s helping us do whatGod called us to do through RCO; making a difference in the lives of young people! On to the next mission!
