Mimaki UJF UV Flatbed Printers The Mimaki UJF Series UV small format flatbed printers can print on a variety of substrates including plastics, metal, wood, leather and glass. The UJF-3042 Series can print up to 12” x 16”. The UJF-3042FX model can print onto substrates up to 2” thick, while the UJF-3042HG can accommodate objects up to 6” thick. The UJF-6042 can print onto materials up to 24” wide x 16.5” long and 6” thick. The all new UJF-7151PLUS can print onto materials up to 28” wide x 20” long and 6” thick. Three types of UV-cure inks can be used, and white and clear (varnish) inks are available. High resolution and vari-able dot printing technology deliver impressive, high quality results. Jettable primer is available to help ink adhere to smooth surfaces such as glass. The Kebab option for the UJF-3042HG model enables printing directly onto cylindrical objects such as bottles and candle holders Create specialty items, novelties, awards, custom pieces and more. TyrrellTech and Orafol were proud to have another wrap class with excited students and lots of productive classroom and wrapping time. The students learned about the various materi-als used in the wrap process, pricing and quoting strategies, wrap techniques, and hands on implementation of those techniques.
