Summer & Fall 2015
Registration
To check your Access Periods log in to
Texas State Self-Service using your
NetID and password. Select the
“Student” tab or click the “Student” link
under the Main Menu section. On the
student tab click the “registration” link
and then click “registration status.” You
will see your time tickets along with
any warnings about restrictions that
may keep you from registering.
It is in your best interest to know this
information before registration starts on
March 23rd.

Please notice that RRC/Avery indicates that the section meets at the Round Rock Campus. If you are not willing to travel, please do not register for that section. We
have RRC/Avery classes every semester.
Please notice that MGT 3353 labs are assigned to specific lectures. Please verify that the lecture and the lab work with your class schedule.
For summer registration only: Students eligible to graduate in August 2015 must have special approval to register for MGT 4335 during Summer I or Summer II. You must meet ALL the prerequisites for MGT 4335 and have ALL credits completed, or registered for. This is your capstone course, and is your last requirement. The form to request special approval will be uploaded on
March 23rd. Please fill out the form once you are registered for all requirements left by visiting the Management website, clicking on ‘Student Information’, then on
‘Special Approval.’
Our office is closed for Spring Break (March 16th—20th). We will handle all registration requests the week we return. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response to your request. Once processed, a staff member from our office
will email your Texas State email address.
It is that time again — time to honor our best and brightest McCoy
students by inviting them to membership in Beta Gamma Sigma! BGS is
the honor society for students enrolled in AACSB-accredited business
programs. The top 10% of juniors and seniors, and the top 20% of
graduate students are invited to join each semester..

Student Spotlight: David Poku, Management
Mai hair is a new hair supply company that serves to supplement the needs of stylists and salons in Central Texas. The company, in addition, also implements what is called the Strands for Cancer Initiative which started in December 2014. This initiative is a
program that looks to donate wigs to women affected by cancer.
Adalia, above, is the next wig recipient. She is shown in the picture with her grandmother, her brother, and David.
