John Wheatland (leſt) provides scienfic and technical experse on a range of projects, and is also working on the Cizen Science project (MICS). John completed his PhD at Queen Mary University London in 2017, where he went on to work as a post-doctoral research associate for a further three years. Johns research explores transport of suspended sediments. James White (right) also provides scienfic and technical advice, as well as helping develop training courses, and research funding opportunies. James obtained his PhD at Loughborough University in 2018. His research explores how water management systems and infrastructure shape ecological processes in rivers. We have been looking into ways to offer some of our training courses as online, virtual sessions. We can now offer the Introducon to Hydromorphology (Level 1)’ course online. Booking details will be announced next week. Watch this space! We hope to develop this approach further and offer more courses online later on. Introduction to Hydromorphology (level 1) Online

Training Course

New staff at the RRC We would like to welcome our 2 newcomers who have recently joined the RRC team as Science & Technical Officers.
