another 10 per cent.
NATIONAL POLICY ON SKILL DEVELOPMENT

with an aim to train over
40 crore (400 million)
people in India in different skills
by 2022.
The reason behind the huge demand
for Skilled Work force is a
great demand from
industry in various sectors. To
achieve these goals, India needs
flexible educa1on and
training system that will provide the
founda1on for learning, secondary
and ter1ary

Skill Development Center to impart
Industrial skills like
1. TIG / MIG Welding Operators
- for Auto parts Industry
2. CNC Machine operators -
for Auto / manufacturing industry
3. Automated Tailoring /sewing -
for Garment exporters 4.

/ hospitals / dry cleaners
The trainees will be
from an underprivileged background
who quit school in class 5th/
8th or later. The training will
be for 2 months a`er which
a test will be conducted by
a Govt Ins1tute of repute. On
passing, the candidate will be
given a diploma cer1ficate from
the Govt.
5
OVERVIEW
We plan to train 6 batches of
120 trainees each, thereby training
to 600/700 youth per annum and
provide them employment in big
industries which will ensure minimum
wages along with statutory benefits
like ESI, PF, Gratuity, Bonus
etc. This way we will be
able to touch 3000-4000 lives
every year. In the process, we
will make India self reliant
for so many things currently
being imported. The
employers will be our own
Industrialist members who have come
forward and commiVed for this
good cause. Therefore we have
selected the voca1ons as per
their requirement to ensure
employability. Few of them who
have already commiVed are Hero
group, Lotus Herbals, Omax Auto,
Sudhir Gensets, and LaundereVe.
The project cost is
around 1 crore and the running
cost is about 40 lakhs per
annum 6
