Joburg’s art-lovers have something exceptional to look forward to this August, when the Rotary

Club of Rosebank hosts its now legendary annual Art Festival in the Centre Court of Hyde Park

Shopping Centre. Following the grand opening on Tuesday 9 June at 18:00, visitors will be able to

view and purchase over 150 fine artworks by 37 local artists over the subsequent five days.

Visitors purchasing raffle tickets this year will put themselves in line to win one of two highly

coveted artworks being raffled: Vivien Budge’s Tuareg Tribesman, valued at R10 000, and a

second oil painting, Bush Path near Nottingham Road, by Paul Botes, valued at R7500. The draw

will be held at 16:00 on the final day of the festival, Sunday 15 August.
