Verify for value-added data Slide 6 The Verification Website Slide 7 Slide 8 Slide 9 Slide 10 Slide 11 The Timeline April 16 May 9Roster Verification Tool Open for Teachers April 16 - May 16Roster Verification Tool Open for Administrators By May 22Area Superintendents Meet to Verify May 25District Sign-Off FL DOE Closes Roster Verification Tool Slide 12 The Verification Rules 1.In order for a student to be attached to a teacher the following must apply: 1.For Year-Long Courses: Students need to be in survey 2 and 3 2.For Semester Courses: Semester 1 courses: Students need to be in Survey 2 (October) Semester 2 courses: Students need to be in Survey 3 (February) NOTE: Number of days a student is present is taken into account in the VAM formula Slide 13 The Verification Rules 2.Teacher leaves of 45 or more consecutive working days will have an automatic review 3.All changes made by teachers need to be administratively approved 4.Once changes are approved, teachers are NOT allowed to make additional changes in the system Slide 14 The Process Plan Information will be communicated to Administrators Teachers Hard copies sent to schools: Instruction sheets and sign-off sheet Slide 15 The Process Plan Teachers sign-off that they received the following Instructions to include: The link to the Roster Verification Tool Teacher Log-in ID Instructions to access the system The link to Reports Manager to get an electronic copy of Survey 2 and 3 rosters Ethical statement Slide 16 The Process Plan Using the rules: Teachers verify their own rosters School administrators verify EACH teachers roster Review of teachers with leave of 45 days or more Area Superintendents approve EACH schools roster District completes final submission Slide 17 Communication Instruction manual posted in Moodle Communication in Appraisal Updates Administrator Appraisal Update Teacher Appraisal Update Information included in Monday Update Slide 18 Implications Ethical considerations DMTs Slide 19 Next Steps Information and instructions will be sent to schools prior to April 16 th Volunteers for feedback Teachers and administrators Summer Slide 20 Post-It Your Questions
