Hi, I‘m Rose Tavares and I am running for re-election as the treasurer for RISH. For those of you who don’t know me I am a graduate of Rhode Island College and St. Joseph’s Hospital’s School of Cytotechnology. I am currently working for the COBRE Center for Cancer Research and Development’s Molecular Pathology Core Laboratory and the Community College of Rhode Island where I am the Educational Coordinator for the Histotechnician Program. Why am I running again because I thoroughly enjoyed the contribution that I made to RISH by being in office and would be honored to serve another term as treasurer.
