Ango designs represent a view of how enlightened, environmen-tally responsible 21st century design and production can be.The branches of the mulberry shrubs are harvested in the au-tumn, and the innermost layer of bark (white bark) is stripped from the timber and boiled in a mixture of water and soda ash. The strips are then beaten by hand until they have been well sep-arated.The diffuser is formed by hand sewing each of the prepared clus-ters of fiber to a cotton grid, which has been fastened to the base structure.

The TRuK range is what we like to call “perfectly imperfect”. The fixtures began life as air filters with some spending 10,000 hours, or more, under the hood of a diesel engine haul truck, digger, etc. The filters have been given new life and beauty as they are repurposed, refinished and upcycled to become light fixtures. Just like humans, the fixtures retain hints of a past life and while they may be a little flawed, we think that they are perfect just the way they are. Available in 4 sizes and 4 Metal-lic/electroplated and powder-coated finishes.
