Welcome to Roots Collegium!

It’s been a fulfilling journey of three decades since Roots Collegium was incepted in 1991. As an educational institution that believes in constant innovation and learning, I am happy to inform you that we have kept pace with the market dynamics and always be in step with the developments and new initiatives in learning approaches, methodology and optimize value to our students and teachers. VALUE ADDEDCOURSES ACCAThe ACCA is a global CAB program, awarded by a London-based organisation and recognised by the Government of UK. Career Counselling is an integral part of the Roots approach to education. All the campus placement processes are meticulously managed by the Roots Corporate Relations Team. The placement team also trains students through a series of activities to help them succeed. These skills include Presentation Skills, Body Language, Soft Skills, Mastering Interviews, Resume Writing and Personal Interviews. Students are also exposed to mock interviews to help them go through the placement process successfully.

CAREERCOUNSELLING

An important aspect in nurturing and shaping young minds is mentoring. This is an integral part of the Roots Collegium core philosophy. The Roots founders strongly believe that the right mentorship leads to creating successful future leaders. Through the students’ journey of excellence, they do not only learn but develop the necessary skill of sharing their thoughts, experiences and stories. The Roots Toastmasters Club has been created to fulfil this goal. It helps students build confidence and clarity with every speaking assignment and provides a mutually supportive and positive learning environment. Toastmasters serves as an effective platform for student members to hone their skills in order to succeed in today’s intensely competitive and dynamic environments. The Club is bases on a series of programs designed to upskill students in communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentations. Students are also coached in the presenting their ideas and perspectives effectively.

Roots Collegium is the first to introduce Toastmasters International in Telangana. After its initial success, Roots looks forward in continuing to creative the right environment to nurture future leaders through its Toastmasters program.

Roots Foundation Club is a reflection of its commitment to society. Roots has adopted two schools - Saraswathi Shishu Madir (Kukatpally) and Roots has sponsored their infrastructure, RO plant and rest rooms for students. Roots students have plans of distributing 200 toiletry kits to orphans.

Shaping young leaders of the future begins early. The Roots Entrepreneurs Club is committed to encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit in every young mind. The Club provides students opportunities to access entrepreneurial resources, network with their peers, hear insights from eminent guest speakers, attend creative workshops and attend social, networking and start-up events. “Chrysalis” is an in-house incubator, summer internship program which offers mentorship and training opportunities for students from the industry’s best entrepreneurs and investors.

Theatre is a form of self-expression. The Roots Theatre Club encouragesthe creativity and soft skills in students, offering them an opportunity to express themselves, build confidence and also explore the literary world.

The Roots Sports Club offers students a platform to purse and participate a sport of their interest.
