Sorting Tangelos

• Posing a real problem – 1 bag of tangelos to be shared equally amongst room 11 children.

• But not everyone wanted one……• 1 bag = 27 divided between 20 students ?

can all do in a physical setting

• An activity that will be stimulating and enjoyable with 1,2 or more children

!• No need to

reinvent the wheel. Find another activity with the same application ?

• Cookies on a plate? Using 20 counters
