    John Morrison(Friar Laurence) recently appeared at Media Theatre as Ben Franklin in 1776. He has performed at Shake-speare Festivals in Utah, Texas and Philadelphia and played Falstaff in Revolution Shakespeare’s produc-

    tion of Five Kings. He has appeared at numerous the-atres in Philadelphia, New York and New England. A long time musician and composer, he recently com-pleted a musical version of one of Shakespeare’s plays.

    Gavin Whitt(Abraham) graduated from Temple University with a BA in Theater and received his MA in Acting from East 15 School of Acting in the UK. Past credits include: Ruined, Psycho Beach Party, Going to Holland, Karna and

    Kunti, and Six Degrees of Separation.

    Jesse Cline(Artistic Director) Artistic Director at The Media Theatre since 1994. For Rockwell Productions (’94-2000) he directed 50+ musicals including West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Carousel, and Oklahoma! In ’96 produced world premiere musical The Molly Maguires. Since 2000, has maintained his position as the theatre company transferred to not-for-profit status (Media Music Theatre Company) and lead the company to Award status (Broadway World’s “Best Theatre Company of Philadelphia”, Barrymore recognition for Excellence in Theatre, Philadelphia Inquirer’s “Best Of” honors, as well as honors from Main Line Today, Daily Times, and 20 Reader’s Choice honors from various media out-lets). Productions: Philly premieres of Thrill Me, The Wild Party, Rent, Aspects of Love, and Aida. His pro-duction of Mame starring Andrea McArdle moved to Bucks County Playhouse in 2013 in which he worked with Tony Award winning producer Jed Bernstein. The show received 9 Broadway World Awards for “Best of Philly Theatre”. Previously Ar-tistic Director for Millbrook Playhouse.     Patrick Ward(Executive Director) at Media Theatre since ‘94. Di-rected acclaimed productions of Carnival and Big River, plus The Frog Prince and Aladdin. Worked off-Broadway with Stanley Brechner’s award win-ning American Jewish Theatre on such projects as The Immigrant, Only Kidding, Education of Hyman Kaplan, and I Ought To Be In Pictures. Has been a producer, actor, stage manager and director work-ing on more than 150 productions. During the ’02-’03 season in association with the Society for the Performing Arts, he produced Jekyll and Hyde: The

    Musical, Secret Garden, and Joseph…Dreamcoat. He continues to produce and oversees the manage-ment of the entire organization.

    Bill Van Horn(Director) A local Philadelphia actor for several years, Bill was seen as Jean Shepherd in the Walnut Street Theatre’s production of A Christmas Story and recently as The Wizard in their production of The Wizard of Oz. He directed the show Peter and the Starcatcher at The Walnut as well, and is a 16 year company mem-ber of the Theater at Monmouth in Maine.

    Roger Ricker(Director of PR/ Company Manager) Direct liason to various media outlets and group sales leaders; writes press releases; teaches acting to children and teens at New School & Dance Studio; directs children’s shows including Peter Pan and Wendy, Jack Frost, and Annie Jr; has been seen in over 100 productions here includ-ing the recent 1776 and Gypsy. Has annual summer fundraising concert for youth programs.

    Kyle Brylczyk (Production Manager/ Technical Director) Origi-nally from Central NJ and a graduate of Rowan University, he has spent the last decade in multiple entertainment venues and positions. Honored to be the new Production Manager and Technical Director for the Media Theatre. He has worked with Cirque Du Soleil and Carnival Cruise Lines, among with many other productions, and is ex-tremely excited about the future of The Media Theatre. Being a technician for Cirque Du Soleil and Carnival Cruise Lines as well as a production manager for a tour through the southeastern Unit-ed States has prepared him to the the Technical Director for this award winning professional music theatre company.

    Matthew Miller(Scenic Design) Resident Designer for the Media Music Theatre. Designed at Shakespeare & Com-pany in Lenox, Ma, executing the lighting design for the American Premier of Red Velvet and The Comedy of Errors. Matthew is on the faculty at Temple University teaching stage management and design. He is also Director of Production. He earned an MFA at The University of North Caro-lina - Chapel Hill.     Carl Park(Sound Design) Media resident; designer/ engineer plus singer/ songwriter. Provided sound for Long-wood Gardens, Wilmington Grand Opera House, Delaware Shakespeare Festival to name a few. Sixth show for Media Theatre. “Best Sound Designer” Philly Broadway World Awards 2013 and 2014!

    Melissa Cristaldi Little(Properties Designer) second season as Props Master. Previous Media credits include: Dogfight, 1776, Bridg-es of Madison County, and A Christmas Story. She holds a degree in Theatre from DeSales University and has been working in Philadelphia since 2005.

    Ryan Morris(Master Electrician) currently works full time as a light-ing technician with Pin Point Lighting, house electri-cian at the Tower Theater, and master electrician for the Media Theater. A proud member of IATSE Local 8, he hopes to continue to use his skills to enrich the arts community in the Philadelphia region.

    Steven Spera (Lighting Designer) Steven’s work enlightened our production of Bridges of Madison County previous-ly. He is a Chicagoland native and is a MFA can-didate in lighting design at the University of Vir-ginia. His previous designs include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (WSR) – winner of Broadway World Chicago for Best Lighting De-sign (Resident Non-Equity), The Arctic Circle and a recipe for Swedish pancakes (UVa), Luv (HTTF), Violet (HTTF), Beehive (WSR), The Other Place (Live Arts).

    Jennifer Povish(Costume Designer) the resident cutter/draper at Vil-lanova Theatre. Recent credits include Fiddler on the Roof and Deathtrap at Steel River Playhouse; The Jungle Book at Acting Without Boundaries; A Young Frederick Douglass at Beacon Theatre Productions; and Michael and Edie at Villanova Theatre. Previously worked as an apprentice at the Walnut Street Theatre where she designed many children’s shows. Gradu-ated from Philadelphia University with a Bachelor of Science in fashion design. Has a side business making custom wedding gowns.

    Katie Yamaguchi(Wardrobe Supervisor) fashion and costume designer in the Philadelphia area. She graduated from Moore Col-lege of Art & Design, with a B.F.A. in fashion design and a minor in textile design. She recently costume designed Ghost, Hello, Dolly!, Gypsy, and Billy Elliot at the Media Theatre

    Tim Haney(Stage Manager) Been employed here since 1998, when seen in world premiere musical Molly Magu-ires. Has been in many Broadway Series and Chil-dren’s Series shows here. Credits also include Direc-tor, Instructor.
