P L A N N I N G F O R T H E F U T U R E ? Have you considered where you child will attend high school? Does your child show a tendency or has s/he expressed a desire to pursue a career as a teacher or a pastor? If so, please consider the option of a WELS high school. We receive information from WELS high schools about opportunities for you & your youth to explore what they offer, chances for your fam-ily to check out their school, the campus & activities and (most im-portantly) find out how they continue to build upon the Christian edu-cation we’ve started here at RLS:

1 . S C L H S G R A D E S C H O O L N I G H T S St. Croix (MN) Lutheran High School is hosting two grade school events in mid January; RLS families are invited and RLS players, coach-es & parents will receive FREE ADMISSION; RLS teams will be acknowl-edged during half-time of the games, plus there are activities to try out (get a coupon for free stuff from the concession stand). 2 . L P S O P E N H O U S E

Tue, Jan 30 — Luther Prep School (Watertown WI) is hosting another evening open house at 5:30pm; the event features their boys’ basket-ball game. For more info email [email protected] or call 920-261-4352 ext 121.

Alternately, if you are heading to WI as part of your Christmas travels, it might be worth a side-trip to Watertown to tour LPS. They are lo-cated at 1300 Western Avenue—and their brochure says they’re hap-py to set up a tour at any time. Contact them and set it up: [email protected] or call 920-261-4352 ext 121.

L A S T B U T N O T L E A S T There are families at our school who’ve sent children to both SCLHS, LPS or another WELS high school. If you’d like to visit with another, experienced parent—we can help with that, too.
