Maintains creative control of artistic aspects of a production

Designer: Places directors ideas into a concrete plan

that can be realized

Can specialize in one or more of the following categories: Set, Costume, Lighting, Sound, Make up, Props

Technical Director:the person responsible for executing the designs of a stage production

Technical Director: Implements the designs

Makes sure that designs are all successfully carried out

Organizes the construction of the scenery 

Assembles all crew heads

Dramaturg: Does production-based research for the

director

Maintains the style and period of a production

  Assembles educational materials (essays,

displays, program inserts, study guides) for the audience
