    Long March-Class Freighter

    Dimensions : 2.0 km length, 0.42 km abeam approx.Mass : 8.4 megatonnes approx.

    Crew: 18,000 approx.Accel. : 1.3 gravities max sustainable acceleration

Piloted primarily by chartist captains, the Long

March class freighter can be found plying the cargolanes across the Imperium. Designed as an all pur-

pose cargo carrier this class can be found modified to

serve a number of purposes. Its maze of labyrinthinelower decks, while a source of grumbling among thecrew for their narrowness, has proven to be of use tosmugglers on more than one occasion.

Builtaround much of the same hull as the Huang He

class freighter, the Long March shares much of itsstrengths and weaknesses. Designed and built by

Song Ti Industries to quickly to take advantage of alack of freighters, this class took advantage of olderand more readily available equipment and technolo-gies. Although some issues found in the Huang He

were addressed some say others were created. Whilethe ease of finding replacement parts makes mainte-nance and repairs easier, the class is starting to showits age, and breakdowns are common.

Cargo Hauler: This ship was designed as acargo hauler and no amount of retro-fitting will

seriously change that. The Long March comes pre-equipped with a main cargo hold (Rogue Trader

pg. 203). 2 points of power will have allocated topower this hold. The allotted SPs reflect this.

Easy To Find: Due to this class using many very

common components, attempts to find replace-ment parts are at 20 to reflect the ease of locat-ing the part. Hint: Look in salvage yards.
