since it’s inception. The Archer-class is a versatile,

well rounded frigate built for multiple tasks.

Although well lauded, the Archer suffered from

limited numbers due to construction delays and can-

celations caused by infighting within the Imperial

navy’s procurement division. Rumors persists to this

day of a rival company paying off high ranking

members of the Imperial navy to scrap the project.

The Archer’s reputation became darkened in later

years when it was rumored that the Archer had statis-

tically larger numbers of it’s class lost in the warp

than any other frigate class. Official sources deny

this and all statistical records concerning this subject

are classified.
