Home & Away Online-Manager Customize and manage your home phone service to suit your household’s needs – all from the convenience of your computer.

Home & Away Online-Manager is the newest innovation from Rogers Home Phone that provides you with more fl exibility and control over your home phone service.

• Forwarding: Forward all calls or specifi c calls to another number so that you can stay in touch when you’re on the go. Page 2

• Privacy: Answer the phone when it’s convenient for you. When you don’t want to be disturbed, choose to have your phone ring only when someone from a select list calls. Page 4

• Ring Settings: Change the number of rings before your phone goes to Voicemail, or set a unique ring for your Family & Friends. Page 6

• Contacts: Manage your list of contacts all in one place, and create a Speed Call list to make it easier for you to call the people you talk to most often. Page 8

If you subscribe to the Home & Away Online-Manager feature, you can do all of these things at no extra charge. Just visit rogers.com/onlinemanager.

You must have a rogers.com User ID and password in order to log-in to Online-Manager.Visit rogers.com and click on Register to create a User ID.

• You can still activate and deactivate features using your phone. Please refer to your Rogers Home Phone User Guide for instructions.

• Interested in subscribing to Home & Away Online-Manager? Call 1 888 ROGERS1 and ask for Rogers Home Phone Account Changes.

If you are not home but still want to receive that important call made to your home phone, the Forwarding features keep you connected wherever you are.

Activate Forward All My Calls

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the FORWARDING tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Forward All My Calls option.

3. Select where you want to forward your calls from the three available options.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

Deactivate Forward All My Calls

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the FORWARDING tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Do Not Forward My Calls option.

3. Click CONFIRM to save your changes.

FORWARDING

Forward All My Calls Have all of your incoming home phone calls forwarded to an alternate phone number, such as your cell phone or pager.

Activate Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the FORWARDING tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls option.

3. Select your desired settings for unanswered calls and busy calls.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

Deactivate Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the FORWARDING tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls option.

3. Select Turn forwarding off.4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

Forward My Friends & Family Calls Forward callers from your Friends & Family Forward List to an alternate number. Callers not on the list will continue to reach your home phone line.

Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls If your home phone line is busy or a call isn’t answered, you can have calls forwarded to an alternate number so that you never miss a call.

TIP The ability to forward busy and unanswered calls is only available to customers who do not subscribe to Voicemail.

Add a number to your Friends & Family Forward List

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the FORWARDING tab.

2. Click Manage My Friends & Family – Forward List.3. Select Add a new number to My Friends & Family – Forward List.4. Enter a new phone number in the box provided.

5. Click ADD and then SAVE CHANGES to save the new number.

Activate Forward My Friends & Family Calls

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the FORWARDING tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Forward My Friends & Family Calls option.

3. Select where you want to forward your calls from the three available options.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

The Privacy features offer you the ability to take control of who can call you. Different levels of privacy allow you to decide which calls reach you, as well as when you want to receive them.

Block Unwanted CallersUsing this feature lets you reject incoming calls from a list of numbers that you specify and/or from any private numbers that call your line. These callers will hear an announcement indicating that you are unavailable.

PRIVACY

Add a number to your Unwanted Callers List

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the PRIVACY tab.

2. Click Manage My Unwanted Callers.

3. Enter a new phone number in the box provided.

4. Click ADD and then click SAVE CHANGES.

Activate Block Unwanted Callers

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the PRIVACY tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Block Unwanted Callers option.

3. Select your desired settings for Block Unwanted Callers and callers will receive a message stating you are unavailable.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

Deactivate Block Unwanted Callers

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the PRIVACY tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Everyone Can Call Me option.

3. Click CONFIRM to save your changes.

Allow Calls from My Friends & Family Callers whose numbers are included in your Friends & Family Privacy List will be connected. All other callers will hear an announcement stating that you are not accepting calls from their number.

Do Not Disturb All callers go directly to Voicemail or receive a busy signal. You will be notifi ed with a half ring that a caller has tried to call your home phone.

PRIVACY

Add a number to your Friends & Family Privacy List

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the PRIVACY tab.

2. Click Manage My Friends & Family – Privacy List.3. Select Add a new number to my Friends & Family – Privacy List.4. Enter a new phone number in the box provided.

5. Click Add and then SAVE to save your changes.

Activate Allow Calls from My Friends & Family

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the PRIVACY tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Allow Calls From My Friends & Family option.

3. Click CONFIRM to save your changes.

Deactivate Allow Calls from My Friends & Family

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the PRIVACY tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Everyone Can Call Me option.

3. Click CONFIRM to save your changes.

Activate Do Not Disturb

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the PRIVACY tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Do Not Disturb option.

3. Select your desired settings.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

Deactivate Do Not Disturb

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the PRIVACY tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Everyone Can Call Me option.

3. Click CONFIRM to save your changes.

Friends & Family Unique Ring Create a Friends & Family Unique Ring List to be notifi ed by a special ring (1 short ring, 1 long ring, and 1 short ring) when you receive a call from a number on this list.

RING SETTINGS

Add a number to your Friends & Family Unique Ring List

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the RING SETTINGS tab.

2. Click Manage My Friends & Family – Unique Ring List.3. Select Add a new number to my Friends & Family – Unique Ring List.4. Enter a new phone number in the box provided.

5. Click ADD and then SAVE to save your changes.

Activate Friends & Family Unique Ring

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the RING SETTINGS tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Friends & Family – Unique Ring option.

3. Select Yes for Identify My Friends & Family callers with a unique ring.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

Change the number of rings before calls go to Voicemail

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the RING SETTINGS tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Voicemail option.

3. Use the drop-down menu to change the number of rings before a call goes to voicemail.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

Number of Rings for Voicemail

If you have Rogers Voicemail you can adjust the number of times your phone rings before calls go to Voicemail, to make sure you have time to get to the phone when you are home.

Long Distance Ring By default, you will hear a different ring (1 long ring and 2 short tones) when receiving a Long Distance call. This can easily be deactivated or reactivated online.

Deactivate Long Distance Ring

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the RING SETTINGS tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Long Distance Ring option.

3. Select No for Identify long distance callers with a unique ring.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

Activate Long Distance Ring

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the RING SETTINGS tab.

2. Click Confi gure on the Long Distance Ring option.

3. Select Yes for Identify long distance callers with a unique ring.

4. Click Next and then CONFIRM to save your changes.

TIP Ring Settings are only available to subscribers of Voicemail.

You can view, manage and edit all your contacts conveniently and quickly online. This will help you add numbers to the Forwarding or Privacy settings. You can also assign a speed dial number to people you call frequently and who are on your My Contacts list.

Add a New Contact

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the CONTACTS tab.

2. Click the Add a New Contact link.

3. Click SAVE CHANGES.

Delete an Existing Contact

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the CONTACTS tab.

2. Click the Delete link beside the contact you want to remove.

3. Click SAVE CHANGES.

CONTACTS

Add a number to your Speed Call List

1. Login to rogers.com/onlinemanager and click the CONTACTS tab.

2. a) If adding a new contact to the Speed Call list click Add a New Contact. or b) If adding an existing contact to the Speed Call list click Edit.

3. Use the drop-down Speed Call list to specify the two-digit Speed Call code you want to assign to that contact.

4. Click SAVE CHANGES.

Speed Call If you make frequent calls to particular contacts, Speed Call helps you quickly dial their numbers.And you can easily manage which contacts are on your Speed Call list online.
